Film producer, Entrepreneurhsip, and the Experience Economy

• The chapter explores how the role of the film producer is constructed in the entrepreneurial process when a new film is initiated and organized. The text is based on interviews with two acclaimed Swedish film producers. Instead of focus on the dichotomy between the film director and the film producer in the creative process, the importance of producer participation in this process is noticed. Some examples are given how it can be done in practice.
