- Denna rapport har som syfte att lyfta fram litteratur, forskning, processer och erfarenheter som kan ge stöd i museers arbete med värdering, urval och prioritering av föremål som ska evakueras i händelse av krig eller katastrof. Att värdera och sedan prioritera föremål och samlingar kan göras på olika sätt, men bör i möjligaste mån bygga på resonerande och verifierbara förklaringar samt vedertagna kriterier. Värden är varken statiska eller inneboende utan växlar över tid, i takt med att samhället och synen på kulturarv förändras, men också på grund av att kunskap om kulturarv hela tiden utvecklas.1 Målet är att råden och processerna som beskrivs i denna rapport ska vara praktiknära och anpassningsbara utifrån olika museers möjligheter.

Långsprötad silverfisk i museer, bibliotek och arkiv i Sverige

- Det finns flera syften med denna rapport. Ett är att klargöra utbredningen av långsprötad silverfisk i Sverige, i såväl privatbostäder som i museer, arkiv och bibliotek. Den långsprötade silverfiskens biologi redogörs det också för i detalj utifrån befintlig litteratur. Dels för att synliggöra potentiella angreppspunkter för framtida bekämpningsåtgärder, dels för att utforma en biologiskt understödd riskbedömning för verksamheter som arbetar med samlingar och arkiv. Väldigt knapphändig information har tidigare funnits för beskrivning av typiska silverfiskskador i samlingar och arkiv. Dokumentationen i denna rapport bidrar därför till en ökad förståelse kring hur svårupptäckta skadorna kan vara och synliggör potentiella risker med att angrepp lämnas utan åtgärd. Ytterligare frågeställningar som berörs gäller artens fenologi i Sverige, dess fortsatta spridning samt skadepotential.

Built cultural heritage in Antarctica : remains and uses of the first Swedish SouthPolar expedition 1901–1903

- In 1901, Otto Nordenskjöld led the first Swedish South Polar expedition with a multidisciplinary team of researchers in geology, geography, biology and medicine. The original plan was to hibernate in Antarctica and stay for one year to survey the land, measure the climate, and collect samples, but their ship was wrecked and the expedition came to last more than two years. Today, the remains from this expedition are protected as cultural heritage according to the Antarctic Treaty and they have been maintained by Argentinian efforts. Among five protected cultural environments, the wooden research station on Snow Hill Island stands out. Sweden joined the Antarctic Treaty in 1984 but has not actively engaged in the management of cultural heritage there until the CHAQ2020 expedition in 2020. The fieldwork presented in this report was carried out in Antarctica with the purposes of documenting and assessing the condition of the remains and providing a knowledge base for policy and decision-making concerning Swedish cultural heritage in Antarctica.

- The aim of the project: This report on the situation of urban archaeology in Gävle is written as part of the project The Medieval Town: Implications of Early Urbanization for Modern Planning, under the auspices of Riksantikvarieämbetet and Statens historiska museer. The aim of the project is to make a detailed survey and documentation of the situation of urban archaeology and its implications for physical planning and make a scholarly evaluation of the uncovered material. The project deals mainly with those places which obtained town rights in the formal legal sense during the Middle Ages.The arrangement of the report: Chapters 1 and 2 give an account of a number of data which in various ways are important for the early development of the town. The information is collected from available literature (mainly as regards documentary material) as well as from primary material in the archives (archaeological data, records from borings). In the firstmentioned case no attempt has been made to correct possible faults through independent research. As regards the archaeological material, the aim has been to include all archaeological observations, even if for different reasons this has not always been possible.One important aim during work on the report has been to appraise and evaluate the archaeological material and to what extent it throws light on essential problems concerning urban history. The basic idea is that archaeological material can provide information about chronology, function, social structure and economic basis. The material has been arranged on the assumption that the form of settlement which took place and is reflected in the archaeological material is the result of a functional adaption to certain decisive prerequisites such as topography, communications, and economical-geographical conditions.The data have been chosen and structured on this basis. The selection gives both a general view of the available material concerning the development of the medieval town and a basis for further work on this material. This in turn will provide a foundation for the antiquarian evaluation in relation to future work.The English summary gives a broad outline of the contents, mainly based on the maps of the report. - För att ta reda på hur fornminnesinformation används idag och vilka behov som finns i framtiden genomfördes en enkätundersökning. Till fornminnesinformation räknas alla typer av uppgifter som kan knytas till varaktigt övergivna lämningar i landskapet, till exempel ärenden, uppdragsinformation, dokumentationsmaterial, rapportering, lämningsinformation och fyndregister. I denna rapport redovisas de behov som framkom av enkätundersökningen. Rapporten omfattar inte förslag på lösningar eller prioritering av behoven.
