1.	Animal horror cinema : genre, history and criticism 2015 Proceedings (redaktörskap) (övrigt vetenskapligt/konstnärligt)abstract The first academic study of the genre of animal horror cinema is essential for cinema and animal studies scholars as well as for fans of horror film. It defines this popular sub-genre, outlines its history and studies recent films as well as cult classics from a variety of perspectives. A central idea in the book is that animal horror cinema mirrors socially entrenched fears of and attitudes toward animals. Thus, animal horror cinema reveals attitudes toward the fabric of social life, the fragility of the eco-system and a deep uncertainty about what makes humans different from animals. The book contains chapters by scholars with different national and disciplinary backgrounds, and therefore offers a wide range of interpretations on the significance of the animal in modern horror film.

Vernacular Literacies - Past, Present and Future 2014 Proceedings (redaktörskap) (refereegranskat)abstract This anthology is the outcome of a Nordic literacy-conference held at Umeå University in Sweden in June 2012, where the focus was vernacular literacy practices of the past, of the present and of the future. Vernacular literacy practices have become increasingly prominent in everyday life, especially in social media through digital technology. However, vernacular literacy is not a new phenomenon. The written word has been used for everyday purposes throughout history, in various media and using different technologies. Twenty papers from the conference are presented in this volume, with a predominance of articles dealing with the past. The historical section embraces literacy practices through the Viking Ageto the beginning of the twentieth century in Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia. The contemporary section includes workplace literacies, digital literacies and literacy practices in the educational domain in a Swedish context. The volume is multi-lingual with articles in English and in the Scandinavian languages. The articles written in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian are accompanied by abstracts in English. The conference was hosted and organized by the Nordic network Vernacular Literacies, in cooperation with the Nordic project Reading and Writing from Below, and was funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (‘The Swedish foundation for Humanities and Social Sciences’). Letterstedska föreningen and the Department of Language Studies at Umeå University have contributed to the production of the volume.

DiPaDA 2022 : Proceedings of the Digital Parliamentary Data in Action (DiPaDA 2022) Workshop 2022 Proceedings (redaktörskap) (refereegranskat)abstract The workshop Digital Parliamentary Data in Action (DiPaDA 2022) was organised in Uppsala on March 15, 2022, co-located with the 6th Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries Conference (DHNB). These workshop proceedings reflect the aims of the workshop to foster interaction and stimulate conversations between humanities, social sciences, and computational sciences – representing scholars from the Nordic region and beyond that work with digital parliamentary data. The contributions in the proceedings present results of ongoing research on creating and using historical and present parliamentary data to study parliamentary culture, politics, language use, and the media. Moreover, the contributions offer novel perspectives on applying, curating, and representing this key societal data, and discuss the future opportunities and challenges in such research.
