- This book is the culmination of the Turabdin Project which goal is to monitor the development of Modern Literary Syriac essentially from the 1980s to the present. As a Scandinavian project, the majority of the data consists of literature written and published in Sweden. The approach is descriptive and contrastive relative to the Classical language, significant differences between Modern Literary Syriac and Classical Syriac are noted. The main focus is on neologisms and new developments in the lexicon.The present volume is subdivided into two parts. Part One, Context and Analysis, places the collected Modern Literary Syriac neologisms in their sociolinguistic context and presents an analysis of the most prominent features that characterise the data. Part Two, Glossary of Neologisms, consists of the list of neologisms collected, presenting the meaning of the entries, as deduced from their context, as well as proposed etymologies, their relationship to Classical Syriac, attestations in the sources, synonyms in Modern Literary Syriac when available in the data, and other relevant information. Finally, an Index of English Terms and Expressions is appended to the end of the book. Here the English translations of the neologisms discussed in the present volume are listed.

- The aim with the present volume, The Quran: In Transcription, is to make the Quran available in a scientific transcription. The present transcription is not meant to replace the Arabic text in the Arabic script. The Arabic script as well as the Arabic orthography in themselves contain much valuable information for any scholar or reader. This book is rather to be seen as an aid for those who do not master the intricacies of the Arabic script, or those who need access to a scientific transcription. As with any transcription or reading, the present book represents the transcriber’s own interpretation of the Arabic script, grammar and text of the Quran.

- The aim with the present series, The Quran: Key Word Collocations is to present the Quran as raw data with as little interpretation as possible. The digital text used for this purpose is the Uthmani text of the Tanzil Quran Text. In the present series, Collocation is defined as a Key Word, here adjectives, nouns, proper nouns and verbs, forming the center of a cluster with four co-occurring Key Words (1° and 2° of proximity), the first two to the left and to the right, where available. Every Collocation of each Key Word in the Quran is presented in context, as a rule with six words to the right and six to the left of it, where available or where the formatting permits. The central Key Words have been grouped by root > lemma. Classical dictionaries and Quran commentaries, as well as modern Quran dictionaries have been consulted.
