Journal article (other academic/artistic)abstract
- This contribution (in Swedish) is a brief note to challenge two claims made in the journal Språktidningen about the word wi-fi, (1) that it is totally void of semantic content from a word-formation point of view, (2) that a wish for vowel symmetry is the main reason for the diphthong pronunciation of both elements.
