- Ioncell-F, a recently developed process for the production of man-made cellulosic fibers from ionic liquid solutions by dry-jet wet spinning, is presented as an alternative to the viscose and N-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMMO)-based Lyocell processes. The ionic liquid 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene acetate was identified as excellent cellulose solvent allowing for a rapid dissolution at moderate temperatures and subsequent shaping into continuous filaments. The highly oriented cellulose fibers obtained upon coagulation in cold water exhibited superior tenacity, exceeding that of commercial viscose and NMMO-based Lyocell (Tencel) fibers. The respective staple fibers, which have been converted into two-ply yarn by ring spinning technology, presented very high tenacity. Furthermore, the Ioncell yarn showed very good behavior during the knitting and weaving processes, reflecting the quality of the produced yarn. The successfully knitted and woven garments from the Ioncell yarn demonstrate the suitability of this particular ionic liquid for the production of man-made cellulosic fibers and thus give a promising outlook for the future of the Ioncell-F process.

- The difference between the derivations of the Coriolis effect on a rotating turntable and on the rotating Earth is discussed. In the latter case a real force, the component of the earth's gravitational attraction, non-parallel to the local vertical, plays a central role by balancing the centrifugal force. That a real force is involved leaves open, not only the question on the inertial nature of the inertial oscillations', but also the way we tend to physically conceptualize the terrestrial Coriolis effect.

- This article analyzes the impact of the Israel-Palestinian conflict on contemporary antisemitism in Sweden. It departs from an analytical framework consisting of three broad components: an Israel-Palestinian-centric worldview, delegitimiza-tion of Israel, Israelis and Zionism, and antisemitic thought structures projected on Israel. The first conclusion of the article is that there has been a clear connection between the Israel-Palestinian conflict and antisemitism in Sweden since the June war of 1967 and even more since the Lebanon war of 1982. Another conclusion is that the Israel-Palestinian centric worldview, which basically argues that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is more important than other conflicts and key to peace in the wider Middle East, has weakened in Sweden in recent years. A third conclusion is that periods without major outbreaks of violence in the Israel-Palestinian conflict seem to have a calming effect on antisemitism in Sweden, just like escalations in the conflict trigger antisemitism here. We have seen this pattern repeating itself over the past decade and a half with several wars in Gaza and with the most recent escalation between Israel and the Palestinians in May 2021.

- New technologies and practices, such as drug testing, genetic testing, and electronic surveillance infringe upon the privacy of workers on workplaces. We argue that employees have a prima facie right to privacy, but this right can be overridden by competing moral principles that follow, explicitly or implicitly, from the contract of employment. We propose a set of criteria for when intrusions into an employee's privacy are justified. Three types of justification are specified, namely those that refer to the employer's interests, to the interests of the employee her- or himself, and to the interests of third parties such as customers and fellow workers. For each of these three types, sub-criteria are proposed that can be used to determine whether a particular infringement into an employee's privacy is morally justified or not.

- In this paper, the nature of the contract of employment is explored from an ethical point of view. It is argued that certain normative arguments should be taken into account in order to justify such a contract. Furthermore, an argument is developed against the claim that (a) the individual's freedom of decision and (b) the practice of institutional arrangements are sufficient to justify a contract of employment. The dimensional analysis offered shows that further conditions are needed: (a) must be elaborated and interpreted to the extent that this condition is not sufficient - rather sub-criteria regarding the agent's state of knowledge must be met; and (b) should be supplemented by a demand for fairness. A tentative analysis of existing work contracts is the starting point for the ethical analysis. The aim is to show what a legitimate, or reasonable, contract of employment will require. Finally, some important normative implications and consequences regarding the contract's normative status are discussed.

- Lärarutbildningen är en yrkesutbildning på vetenskaplig grund. I vårt paper undersöker vi vad det innebär att lära till lärare i samspelet och spänningarna mellan praxiskunskap, kvalitet och profession. Praxiskunskap är yrkets tysta kunskap som kommer till uttryck i bland annat undervisningspraktikens krav, skolans villkor och socialt relationsarbete. Kvalitet är föreställ- ningar om vad som är en god lärarutbildning och hur dessa tar sig uttryck i en extern styrning omvandlad till kvalitetsarbete. Där möts graden av måluppfyllelse, utbildningskvalitet och vetenskaplig kvalitet. Profession är en motsägelsefull konstruktion som i någon mening intar en mellanställning mellan praxiskunskap och kvalitet genom att förkroppsliga både yrkesmakt och uppdragsgivares styrning av yrkesutövare. Genom att relatera våra egna undersökningar av styrning, lärares yrkesutövning och villkor – t.ex. Perssons artikel Nöjda som lärare, missnöjda som anställda - skolexistens mellan mening och missnöje (2006) och Ranagårdens doktorsavhandling Lärares lärande om elever (2009) – till det konkreta kvalitetsarbete vi är involverade i inom lärarutbildningen i Halmstad vill vi försöka besvara två frågor: 1. Finns det gränser för extern styrning av och insyn i läraryrket och hur konstitueras de i så fall?; 2. Vad vinner och förlorar vi på att läraryrket avförtrollas?

- Coloniser or tourist? Questions and exercises in Swedish history textbooks, 1927-2015The history of History as a Swedish school subject has usually been based on two sources: curriculum plans and textbook narratives. Drawing upon more than 900 exercises that occur in 72 history textbooks published 1927-2015, this article primarily examines which different approaches to history that have been prearranged to the pupils during the second half of the last century. It is shown that a great majority of the exercises, throughout the whole period of time, prescribes a simple reproduction of unchallenged truths. It is also argued that both disciplinarian assignments and aesthetic tasks, seem to appear at least as often before, as after, the 1970s. Subsequently, especially in the 1990s, the exercises occasionally ask for the individual student's own opinions - without demanding them to consider any historical circumstances. Accordingly it is argued that while the former category of exercises most often enjoin the distanced view of the uninvolved tourist, the latter rather instructs the pupil to embrace the coloniser's self-centred perspective of the past.

Har Sverige blivit ett "krissamhälle", ett samhälle som bär stora likheter med vad som i tysk debatt benämns "risikogesellschaft", risksamhälle?
