The paper does so by examining the global corporation Ericsson that renewed into multimedia business and the defense corporation SAAB that renewed into training systems and services. The empirical data consist of in-depth interviews, internal documents, and press articles and annual reports, which are analyzed using extended case method. The findings provide deep insights into what it is that managers actually do when they engage in strategic renewal overlap. Altogether the paper shows that the strategic renewal overlap is of central concern because if we understand more of its nature then we can also understand some of the reasons behind the success and failure of technological change.

Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract This paper provides an analysis explaining the factors that determine the consumer's decision on bundling service in the Swedish telecommunications market. A multinomial model is employed to examine empirically whether the discount, service provider and socio-economic factors can explain the consumer's decision. The data from a national survey in 2009 commissioned by Post- och Telestyrelsen (PTS), the Swedish telecommunications regulator, are used for the analysis. Based on the findings, the discount, service provider and level of income have a potential impact on the decision to buy bundling services. Every service provider has a different strength in bundling services that depends on its core business. Telia would be better off offering triple-play while others may need to focus on doubleplay.

Our activities and processes are now relying on these platforms, they are now our social and business platforms. But are they sustainable? What are the (physical) limits to take into account when looking into the ICT future? Do the planet have enough resources to sustain the making, powering and wasting of all the electronic devices needed to support our social and business platforms in the future? This paper addresses the issue of evaluating the environmental impact of ICT. Starting from the analysis of the sustainability of one of its most celebrated "laws", the Moore's law, we analyse its entire life-cycle, from "silicon-factories", to their use in data centres, to the final destination of ICT products: recycling and reuse (trash ware) in the best case or, uncontrolled waste traffic towards poor countries with health hazards and environmental pollution, in the worst case. We introduce a new dimension in the social and ethical analysis related to ICT: the future. What are the implications of this future ethics in ICT?

(författare) Dynamics of B2B brand equity : the role of interdependencies in buyer-seller relationships 2010 Ingår i: Proceeding of the 39th EMAC Conference. - : European Marketing Academy. - 9788792569011 Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of buyer-seller interdependencies on the formation of brand equity in the B2B context. The study demonstrates that a higher level of dependency, experienced by the multi-services buyers compared to the uni-service buyers, affects overall brand equity developed towards the seller. By considering the hierarchy of effects between the brand equity dimensions, the study shows that the factors capturing the interdependencies have a significant impact on brand loyalty of the multi- service buyers. The study contributes to branding research by evaluating the impact of buyer- seller dependency on B2B brand equity.
