- The green economy initiative carries with it the optimistic view that theeconomy can and should be driven by investments in clean activities as opposed to theextraction of natural resources and polluting industries. However there are limits to theemphasis that is often put on efficiency improvements and on the substitution betweensectors of an economy. For the economy to be green, the reduction in environmentalimpact per unit of GDP should be higher than GDP growth over a period. Even thoughrecent evidence shows that some countries aparently passed the peak in the use of materialsand energy, global extraction of natural resources and CO2 emissions has increased.A probable cause is that rich countries have outsourced polluting activities to poorercountries. It is time to bring the skepticism of reason to the debate and seriously discussdegrowth, not of GDP or of opportunities for human development, but of the globalresource extration and carbon emissions.

- Digital culture refers to the practices, habits, and values that emerge from people'sinteractions with digital technologies, such as the Internet, social networks, and mobile apps,among others. In the curriculum of basic education, it is necessary to work with elements of DigitalCulture so that students can exercise digital citizenship in a critical and reflective way. However,research indicates that teachers, many of them digital immigrants, do not have appropriateresources from the Digital Culture to teach their classes while students, digital natives, observe theidiosyncratic logic and dynamics of school with their reality and notice a great mismatch. Based onthis context, the question is: what are the elements of digital culture that contribute to the reflectionand criticality of students in the teaching of Philosophy in high school? The aim of this text is tohighlight the resources of digital culture that contribute to the reflection and criticality of studentsin the teaching of Philosophy in high school. The methodology is a qualitative bibliographicapproach. As a result, it was observed, in existing research, that the digital resources adopted inpedagogical practices contribute to the teaching of Philosophy and that, depen ding on the resourceused, they allow: illustrating philosophical concepts and theories in a concrete way; stimulatephilosophical and critical reflection; develop critical skills; stimulate debate; share ideas andopinions on philosophical topics; democra tize access to illustrative, representative and interactivephilosophical content; offer different perspectives according to the context and pedagogicalintentions.

Alguns recursos informacionais necessitam de uma descrição bibliográfica mais exaustiva e completa para possibilitar a recuperação dos mesmos pelos usuários por meio do catálogo. Destacam-se nesse contexto as obras raras, que possuem características distintas dos livros modernos. Diante disso buscou-se compreender como ocorre o processo de catalogação de obras raras, no contexto das bibliotecas, e quais os instrumentos e metodologias são utilizados a partir da análise dos aspectos bibliográfico e bibliológico.

- O documento audiovisual é um material que integra a imagem em movimento e o som em sua essência. Constata-se que esse tipo documental está cada vez mais presente nas relações interpessoais e, concomitantemente, nas unidades de informação. O documento audiovisual em foco nesta pesquisa é o filme de ficção. Desse modo, questiona-se: como a Ciência da Informação está tratando a temática desses materiais? Assim, foi feito um levantamento bibliométrico em base de dados com o objetivo de analisar a literatura a respeito dos modos de tratamento temático de filmes de ficção no âmbito da Ciência da Informação e, também, entender como vem ocorrendo o tratamento temático desses materiais. O método é documental e bibliométrico. Como resultados destacam-se a baixa incidência de estudos que abordam a temática; a influência do Cinema enquanto disciplina nos processos de indexação de audiovisual e a presença de um campo vasto para o desenvolvimento de pesquisas.

- Objetivos:A prevalência de problemas de sono em idosos, como insônia, é uma questão relevante em nossa sociedade. A má qualidade do sono, por exemplo, é vista por muitos como um resultado inevitável do envelhecimento. Neste contexto, este estudo teve como objetivo estimar a prevalência e os fatores associados a distúrbios do sono em homens e mulheres idosos (60 anos ou mais).Métodos:O presente trabalho é parte do estudo de coorte Saúde, Bem-Estar e Envelhecimento (SABE), realizado em São Paulo, Brasil. A amostra deste estudo transversal constituiu-se de 1.334 idosos com 60 anos ou mais. Os distúrbios foram avaliados com base nas respostas dos participantes, levando em conta se eles tinham experimentado qualquer perturbação do sono no mês anterior.Resultados:Dentre os avaliados, 44,9% indicaram distúrbios do sono em geral, sendo esses mais frequentes em mulheres (51,5%) e na faixa etária de 75 a 79 anos (48,2%). De acordo com a análise de regressão, gênero, doenças articulares, noctúria e incontinência urinária foram associados aos distúrbios, sobre os quais também foi verificado que seu aumento não é linearmente dependente da idade.Conclusões:Sexo, dor, incontinência urinária e noctúria são fatores associados a distúrbios do sono em idosos. Assim, concluímos que a sua ausência está associada ao gênero e ao estado de saúde.

- The composition and quality of the seed bank are some of the factors responsible for the structure and floristic composition of forest environments. The aim of this study was to evaluate the seed bank of a semideciduous forest patch, taking into account the influence of the landscape's topographical features. Two adjacent landforms, of convex and concave shapes, were selected. They were divided into mini sites (MS) I, II, and III in the convex landform and IV, V and VI in the concave one. Ten sample points on each MS were randomly distributed with a surface area of 0.0625 m(2) and 3 cm deep. A total of 4,862 germinated seeds. m(-1) was registered in 90 days, with the convex landform presenting the highest frequency of germinated seeds. m(-1). A total of 35 families and 88 species were identified in both landforms, of which 37% were of herbaceous habit, 24% arboreal, 18% shrubs, 12% lianas and 2% epiphytic. Regarding the landform's shape, 44% of the species were found in both convex and concave ones, 31% were found exclusively on the convex landform and 25% exclusively on the concave one. Regarding floristic and phytosociological parameters, the convex landform accounted for a higher number of seeds, families, and species richness, while the concave landform accounted for higher diversity. Topography was a determinant factor for the floristic and phytosociological composition of the seed bank. The highest species richness was recorded in the convex landform and highest diversity in the concave landform, with Asteraceae, Melastomataceae and Urticaceae families presenting the highest importance indexes of value.

- The worldwide trend of population growth and municipal solid waste generation suggests the application of tools to assess the sustainability of management systems, aiming at more conscious decision-making. The arrival of the circular economy concept and the Brazilian National Solid Waste Policy aroused discussions and greater concern with the products' life cycle and waste reduction. Thus, the present study aimed to economically evaluate the strategic planning of the urban solid waste management system in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, complementing the analysis of environmental impacts previously carried out, aiming to support sustainable decision making. Results showed that the landfill with energy recovery, despite being environmentally favorable, is not economically viable for the local reality. Investments in improving the efficiency of selective collection and sorting of recyclables, as well as a composting unit, are environmentally beneficial and profitable, despite the significant costs involved. It was concluded, then, that the Campo Grande Selective Collection Plan has realistic and environmentally and economically feasible goals that must be implemented urgently in order to improve the quality of life of the population and reduce environmental impacts, both locally and globally.

- Os aços de alta resistência microligados ao nióbio têm mostrado ser uma boa opção para fabricação de perfis estruturais, utilizando os conceitos já desenvolvidos para a indústria de gás e óleo. Entretanto, a definição das reais necessidades em termos de soldagem desta família de aços não está bem descrita nas normas de soldagem mais utilizadas pelo setor. Este trabalho demonstra a construção e avaliação de um Atlas de Soldagem produzido através de simulações físicas (Gleeble e dilatometria) e ensaios mecânicos de amostras simuladas. O objetivo é que o atlas de soldagem seja uma ferramenta orientativa para melhor definição das faixas de parâmetros para soldagem desta classe de material. A metodologia proposta foi aplicada a um aço ARBL bainítico da classe 65 ksi. Foi possível determinar com mais segurança a faixa de energia de soldagem recomendada, inclusive quanto à necessidade ou não do uso de pré-aquecimento, e evidenciar que as simulações são comparáveis a soldas reais. Esta abordagem mostrou trazer benefícios, como redução de custos com processo de pré-aquecimento desnecessário.
