  • Expedited analytical hierarchical process for multicriteria decision making
  • 2022
  • Ingår i: ICIC Express Letters. - 1881-803X. ; 16:2
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • In this study, a procedure to overcome analytical hierarchical process (AHP) limitations was developed and tested, and a tool created via pairwise comparison chart and weighted sum method hybridization was introduced. In addition, a multicriteria decision-making software was selected to validate the constructed hybrid decision-making tool. The software was formulated based on an established decision-making technique. Data for the comparison analysis were obtained from an ongoing research, and output from the comparison analysis provided evidence for the accuracy of the constructed tool. The proposed hybridized method aligned with AHP reasoning but demonstrated a faster process; hence, it was called ‘expedited AHP’.

  • Ranking of Performance Measurement Systems for Smaller Businesses
  • 2020
  • Ingår i: International Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Systems. - : The Intelligent Networks and Systems Society. - 2185-310X .- 2185-3118. ; 13:2, s. 108-116
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The Performance Measurement Systems (PMSs) seen as part of a factor that indicates the successful and unsuccessful company; especially in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s). The main objective is to analyze most suitable PMSs for Malaysian SMEs based on applicability. In the methodology, qualitative design with applied Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used. The expert panel is selected from practitioners linked with PMSs and SME’s in Malaysia. The findings show the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as first ranked of PMS in SMEs. Followed by BSC are the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and Result and Determinate Framework (RDF). The last three lowly ranked PMS which are the Medori and Steeple Framework (MDF), Dynamic Multi-dimensional Performance Framework (DMPF) and Holistic Performance Measurement Framework (HPMF). At the end of the study, the researcher makes the discussion and conclusion; it is also advised to improve and implement the suitable models in the Malaysian SME’s for further success.

  • Weighted aggregated sum product assessment
  • 2022
  • Ingår i: Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Problems. - : International Information and Engineering Technology Association. - 2369-0747 .- 2369-0739. ; 9:4, s. 873-878
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Multiple Criteria decision-making (MCDM) approaches are required for complex issue resolution. However, it is debatable whether MCDMs applicability will be able to stay within the analytical possibilities for dealing with divorce issues. As a result, one of the newly introduced MCDMs Weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS), is chosen for evaluation. Therefore, this study examined 388 documents from archive of the Scopus database. To evaluate the diversity of the technique's application, the data analysis looked at a few bibliometrics measures. So, the publishing hosts and their influence patterns are displayed, the vast majority of the documents were in the fields of engineering and computer science. According to the findings, the WASPAS can deal with variety of problem-solving scenarios. Hence, this work is summed up with the aim of lowering uncertainty among decision-makers and scholar
