- This chapter delineates the spaces, positions, strategies, and alliance-making of a composite movement in transnational civil society, which has developed in parallel with, and in intersection with an emerging global governance regime on migration supported by the United Nations, intergovernmental forums, and international organisations. With reference to an overall critical understanding of the political economy of international migration, the chapter charts the changing conditionality of a dominant ideoscape of ‘participatory governance.’ This is complemented by an examination of ideopolitical positions and possibilities for building counterhegemonic spaces through a global social movement, critically confronting a systemic hegemony of ‘managed migration.’

Det är enkris som har tagits till intäkt för den upprepade berättelsen om liberalt präglad invandrings- och mångfaldspolitik som misslyckat experiment. Författarna ifrågasätter denna berättelse genom attvända på argumentet om det negativa förhållandet mellan migrationoch välfärdsstatlig solidaritet. De hävdar således att det främst är deneuropeiska och svenska åtstramningspolitiken som sedan tidigt 90-talhar undergrävt samhällets socialpolitiska integrationspotential, skapat fördjupade etniskt präglade klasskillnader, permanentat social exkluderingav stora befolkningsgrupper från sociala och medborgerliga rättigheter,samt i sin konsekvens medfört bristande solidaritet kring välfärdsstatens institutioner.

- I had reached the age of 42 when I was told that I am Sámi, of the indigenous people of Fenno-Scandia. This article draws on my personal experiences and insights since the day I learned about my hidden family history and started understanding the silences and shame as part of an aggressive colonization by the Swedish state towards my people, my culture, our lands, waters, memories, and bodies. In the article, I turn to the Sámi tradition of yoiking to narrate, remember, empower, and heal. I set out for a quest for my own voice, as a Sámi woman in academia, struggling in an aggressive natural resource exploiting colonial system which is a constant threat to Sámi culture, tradition, health, well-being, and long-term survival. Through the blending of feminist technoscience, storytelling, ego-histoire, and lived experiences – a corporeality and the Sámi tradition of yoiking – I create a space for my own version of the production of history and decolonization.

- Small and large sport clubs, in big cities or in the countryside, need to respond to external pressures created by social, financial and environmental factors. These pressures may come from the commercial environment, communities, national governing bodies, or political stakeholders. This chapter introduces the reader to the current pressures faced by Nordic sport clubs and the entrepreneurs’ role in the clubs’ development through the lens of entrepreneurship, and especially social entrepreneurship. This chapter addresses the role of the entrepreneur in relation to the triple bottom line of corporate social responsibility (CSR)—economy, environment, and society—in the context of Finnish and Swedish team sport clubs by using two football clubs as examples.

- The anthropology of knowledge (AoK) is a multi-disciplinary research orientation that deals with reproduction and change of human understanding in different types of social and cultural contexts. AoK sees understanding as located in a broad social naturalistic context and all types of understanding are studied: Western, non-Western, scientific, religious, and everyday. This is in contrast to much of the sociology of knowledge or science studies where mainly scientific or at least Western understanding is focused. Central disciplines in the AoK are social anthropology, psychology, and the cross-disciplinary research area of cognitive science. This text further describes the Anthropology of knowledge partly from the perspective of a specific concept of meaning that finds its intellectual neigbours in primarily in cognitive science but also in e.g., Gadamer's hermeneutics
