- Being one of the central poets in the Swedish neo-Romantic movement of the early 1950's, Paul Andersson (1930-1976) was surrounded by a bright authorial aura even before he published his first poems at the age of 21. In 1953, Andersson's reputation became nationwide when the influential poet and critic Karl Vennberg declared him to be a genius. Three years later, Andersson had published his last book of poetry. In 1959, he left Sweden to lead a difficult life in France and Italy. His silent years in exile have increased his legendary status in the history of Swedish literature. This dissertation explores the relationship between the authorial figure of Paul Andersson and his most extensive work, Berättarna. Kantat i fyra partier för kör och soli (The storytellers. Cantata in four parts for choir and soli) from 1955. By examining the different ways in which the figure of the poet is aesthetically present in the poem, the study attempts to picture a central dimension of Andersson's poetry as a whole. From the single perspective of Andersson's poem, the dissertation also aims at describing the literary climate in Sweden in the mid-1950's. The four storytellers represent different aesthetic positions. In the prologue, the poetic drama is introduced with allusions to 19th century Romanticism, the poetry of the Swedish 1940's, and the work of Arthur Rimbaud. The first storyteller is an outcast whose words propose a cosmopolitan poetics of experience and exile. The second protagonist personifies an escapist attitude towards life and literature. The third part of the poem marks a step towards a realistic poetic ideal, and the last storyteller personifies a combination of social engagement, individualism, and an aesthetics of martyrdom. Berättarna successively develops into a declaration of a new aesthetic ideal. The poem's central characteristic, however, is diversity. In Paul Andersson's self-dramatization, the ambiguity of identity and the aesthetic dimension of public reputation are used to create a multilayered depiction of an uncompromising literary endeavour.

- The purpose of this study is to analyse the way young people who were institutionalised in so called special youth-homes experienced, defined and iterpreted on the one hand the project “Motverka Våld och Gäng” (meaning: “Counteract Violence and Gangs”), and on the other hand the Coordinators employed in this project. There is a big variation in the perception of the coordinators. One common denominator is that the commission of Coordinator and the context in wich the Coordinator acts seems to be flexible enough for one individual to play the role in many different ways. It is only when the specific Coordinator selects an activ, prompt, independent, personal and relatively strong characterization of the role that he or she obtain a chance to have an impact. The personal aspect of the relationship between the young and the Coordinator is depicted as important and it seems as if it plays an important role in the care-giving chain.

Kunskapssamverkan är dock en process som bara delvis präglas av konsensus. När aktörer från olika sfärer möts för att utveckla ny kunskap är det också viktigt att värna sin särart. I detta häfte undersöks och diskuteras hur kunskapssamverkan rotad i vetenskaplig verksamhet kan – och bör – organiseras genom både samråd och förhandling.

- Ambitious ideals about interdisciplinarity are notoriously difficult to put into practice, partly because they are counteracted by how many universities are organised. This is a problem for doctoral students in interdisciplinary projects as well as for their supervisors. Interdisciplinary doctoral students, like all doctoral students, have a research subject in which they are expected to develop into independent researchers, but also an expectation that they will broaden and integrate perspectives from other subjects. This leads to a difficult challenge for both the doctoral student and its supervisor: how should the time be enough? It is difficult to combine reasonable demands and expectations on doctoral students’ independence development with achieving ambitious interdisciplinary ideals. How can this be handled from the perspective of the supervisor who has a more monodisciplinary background than the one the doctoral student is expected to get? How can this supervisor support the doctoral student’s development into an independent interdisciplinary researcher? This article focuses on monodisciplinary preconceptions that supervisors of interdisciplinary doctoral students convey and how they can limit the doctoral students’ opportunities to become independent interdisciplinary researchers. An ideal of a kind of emancipation from certain monodisciplinary ideas is formulated.

- Lighting research is diversified and includes theory and methodology from disciplines as different as technology, medicine and social sciences. There is also an expectation on research results to be directly applicable in real environments. The introduction of LED has furthermore made previous research on incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps and other light sources, outdated. New knowledge – and new research – is needed.An inventory of current LED-research was made during 2013. The result of this inventory is the basis of the research review here presented. The presentation includes more than 400 articles, reported under the headings: The biological clock; Flicker and dimming of LED: Energy efficiency: daylight and lighting control; Colour rendering; Glare, and finally; Perceived lighting qualities.Underlying theoretical considerations as well as actual knowledge are presented in the text of the different sections, and references are given to relevant research publications. All publications have been provided with two or more keywords in Swedish, describing the content of the publication. After the text given under each heading the references supporting this text are presented. In the final section all LED-publications are given in alphabetical order according to author and with keywords.

- Att forska med och om ungdomar och i skolan är spännande och skrämmande. När jag forskade om ungdomar i en tysk (och sedan även i en kanadensisk) skola hade jag bestämt mig för att inte komma ut i forskningsprocessen. Vad jag inte hade väntat mig var hur det kändes att återigen befinna sig ’i garderoben’, som jag dessutom kom att reproducera. Det var å andra sidan väldigt produktivt forskningsmässigt. I denna artikel diskuterar jag den spänning som uppstod mellan de forskningsmässiga fördelarna med att undvika att komma ut för de man studerar och problemen med att reproducera heteronormativitet. Jag diskuterar möjligheten, kanske framför allt i ungdoms- och skolforskning, av en queer positionalitet som inte enbart reduceras till sexualitet utan snarare omfattar en kritisk analys av forskarens och forskningsdeltagarens position i samhället. Det handlar inte om en re-essentialisering, utan om att tydliggöra hur specifika positioner o/synliggörs. Anammandet av en queer positionalitet aktualiserar frågan om vilka förväntningar vi som forskare har på våra forskningsdeltagare. I min studie fanns en underliggande förväntan om att speciellt muslimska elever skulle komma att lämna projektet om de fick reda på min sexualitet. Denna problematiska förväntning använder jag som utgångspunkt för en analys av det ömsesidiga beroende som jag, genom konceptet queer positionalitet, försöker förverkliga. Den queera positionaliteten innebär också ett synliggörande av forskarens sexualitet – inte bara queerforskarens – i forskningsprocessen. Slutligen handlar det om hur vi som forskare använder oss av vår egen position som metodologiskt verktyg, och hur vi förstår och analyserar de begränsningar och möjligheten den innebär.
