Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
- Local and crystalline structures of as-cast SmCo 5±x alloys subjected to various heat treatments were studied using EXAFS, X-ray diffraction, and metallographic analyses. XRD and EXAFS analyses of SmCo 5-x alloys show the evidence of the Sm-enrichment of the SmCo 5 phase. The behavior of the lattice parameters of SmCo 5 phase in Sm-rich alloys during aging between 1120°C and 700°C can be related to the phase transformation of SmCo 5 into SmCo 5-x phases.

Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- We report on an exclusive and kinematically complete high-statistics measurement of the basic double-pionic fusion reaction pn -> d pi(0)pi(0) over the full energy region of the ABC effect, a pronounced low-mass enhancement in the pi pi-invariant mass spectrum. The measurements, which cover also the transition region to the conventional t- channel Delta Delta process, were performed with the upgraded WASA detector setup at COSY. The data reveal the Abashian-Booth-Crowe effect to be uniquely correlated with a Lorentzian energy dependence in the integral cross section. The observables are consistent with a narrow resonance with m = 2.37 GeV, Gamma approximate to 70 MeV and I(J(P)) = 0(3(+)) in both pn and Delta Delta systems. Necessary further tests of the resonance interpretation are discussed.

Photoelectric, nonlinear optical, and photorefractive properties of polyvinylcarbazole composites with graphene

Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- Polyvinylcarbazole (PVK) composites containing graphene in an amount of somewhat less than 0.15 wt % exhibit third-order dielectric susceptibility due to the presence of graphene, as well as photoelectric and photorefractive sensitivity at 1064 nm. The photorefractive (PR) effect is known to occur in a polymer composite that possesses both photoelectric sensitivity and nonlinear optical properties. The photoelectric, nonlinear optical, and PR properties of PVK composites with graphene have been considered in this paper.
