- Avsnitt i podcastserien Kom och ät! I sex avsnitt tar Annika Sylvin-Reuter reda på vad som styrt oss bort från måltidsgemenskapen och vad som kunde få oss dit tillbaka. I serien samtalar hon med måltidsforskare, historiker och kostrådgivare som alla ger sin syn på måltiden och vad den hade för syfte förr och vad den gemensamma måltiden har för funktion idag. Avsnitt 6: Med skärmen som måltidssällskap. Ända sedan TV-apparaterna hittade in i våra vardagsrum och kök, har de stått påslagna mer eller mindre hela tiden. Nu har de dessutom fått konkurrens av mobilskärmar, dataskärmar, applikationer och diverse streamingtjänster. Ett hur bra måltidssällskap är skärmen? Local and traditional knowledge regarding biodiversity and sustainable customary practices : Sweden’s present and future work

- The Sami Parliament has been given the government mandate to accomplish parts of the Swedish implementation of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Sweden’s signature to the Convention means that Swedish public authorities must respect and preserve traditional knowledge related to biodiversity and protect and encourage sustainable customary land and water practices. The Government has assigned the Sami Parliament to serve as the thematic focal point for Articles 8(j) and 10(c) of the CBD. This means that the Sami Parliament is responsible for the national coordination of work on these issues. The mandate concerns traditional knowledge and sustainable customs throughout the country, which can provide knowledge and guidance also for the continued, future use of natural resources by humankind in the sustainable management of biodiversity - all that lives and grows.

- Det övergripande målet för forskningsprojektet Kunskap om trädgårdens roll inom egnahemsrörelsen i Sverige 1905-1936 och dess tillämpning i diskussionen kring hållbar utveckling och välmående i dagens städer är att bredda kunskapen om trädgården och dess roll inom egnahemsrörelsen i Sverige. Syftena är att bidra till diskussionen kring hållbar stadsutveckling och människors välmående i staden, men även att diskutera användningen av historisk kunskap om stadsodling i en nutida stadskontext. Sammanfattningsvis innebär projektet en kunskapsutveckling kring redan genomförda studier kring egnahem samtidigt som det förmedlar en förståelse och ett medvetandegörande av egnahemsträdgårdens roll och värden. Dessa värden kommer utgöra basen för en diskussion inom projektet som handlar om välmående och hållbar utveckling i dagens svenska städer.

Food Culture on Matkult.se : How the Institute for Language and Folklore brings Swedish Cultural Heritage to the Digital Audience

- Built from the bountiful archival sources of the Institute for Language and Folklore (Isof) in Sweden, cultural heritage on the themes of food, drink and meals are now made available on the website matkult.se (English: Foodcult), a knowledge bank for traditional small-scale food culture. In the Isof archives, extensive knowledge on traditional food culture has been and still is being collected. The themes extend from agriculture and fishing to the diet, food resources, plant varieties, livestock breeds, dishes, food production, kitchen utensils and meals of the Swedish countryside. The collected material is rich in its diversity, and forms a source of knowledge of both food production and the context surrounding food as well as an understanding of people’s relationship with food. The aim of the archives’ early documentation was also to record dialects, and in the archival sources a wide variety of geographical words and expressions are presented.

Nordic Legends to do with Agriculture

- The Map of Nordic Legends (in Swedish: ’Sägenkartan’) is a collaboration between the Institute for Language and Folklore in Sweden (Isof), The Norwegian Folklore Archives (NFS), and the Swedish Literary Society in Finland (SLS). The map tells the legends of giants’ stone-throwing (the folkloristic explanations for glacial erratics), witches, the nixie, and encounters with gnomes, werewolves and the Devil himself. The map consists of 10.000 archive records, collected from archive collections and printed publications on legends. Among the legends, the visitor to the site will also find folklore connected with agriculture, for instance about the harvest (Sw. ’skörd’), the farm (Sw. ‘bondgård’), and farm animals (Sw: ’kreatur’, ’kritter’), including horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, cats and dogs (Sw: ‘häst’, ‘ko’, ‘gris’, ‘får’, ‘getter’, ‘katt’, ‘hund’).
