- Samuel Fogelson is a forgotten Polish mathematician and statistician from Warsaw who was also a Soviet intelligence agent. There is no information about him in the Biographical Dictionary of Polish Mathematicians (2003) and the Polish Biographical Dictionary, but it is information in Wikipedia [3], where however it is written only on his espionage activity from the descriptions by A. Poczobut [6]-[8]. We want to present him as a mathematician and statistician from Warsaw, who published many papers, especially in descriptive statistics. We tried to give some of his achievements in mathematics and statistics. Also we mention briefly about his spying activities for the Soviet state.

- Michal (Mojsej) Zyw (1905-1943) was a Polish physicist of the Jewish origin, working mainly with radioactivity and physics of the atomic nucleus. He graduated in physics at the University of Warsaw in 1932 and worked as a volunteer at the Miroslaw Kernbaum Radiological Laboratory of the Warsaw Scientific Society (1930-1939), assistant professor at the Free Polish University (1938-1939) and assistant at the Department of Experimental Physics of the Ivan Franko State University in Lvov (1939-1941). He published 11 scientific papers and his name is known in physics for results in radioactivity. He died in the Warsaw ghetto in 1943. His life and scientific achievements are described. Paper finishes with a full list of his scientific papers.

In 1922 he defended his Ph.D. thesis "On hypergeometric functions with arbitrary amount of seemingly singular points" at the Warsaw University. He published over twenty scientific papers. Do tej pory myśleliśmy, że zaginęły prace, ale na szczęście w archiwum znaleziono siedem rękopisów. Prezentujemy tytuły znalezionych artykułów z informacją, co będzie dalej z rękopisami.Uwaga: W artykule na stronie 74 po [Z5] powinno być:[Z6] E. Żyliński, O gremowskiej transformacji macierzy prostokątnych, 30-62, natomiast numery [Z6] - [Z17]^* powinny być numerowane jako [Z7] - [Z18]^*.

- Jan Ptaszycki był polskim matematykiem pracującym w Petersburgu w latach 1876-1912. W Polsce jest zapomniany, a w Rosji uważany zazwyczaj za rosyjskiego matematyka, znanego tam jako Iwan Lwowicz Ptaszycki. W rosyjskiej literaturze historyczno-matematycznej, w zależności od autora, podaje się, że Ptaszycki był rosyjskim matematykiem lub, rzadziej, polskim matematykiem, na przykład u Łokoć (2015, 2018). Ważne informacje o Ptaszyckim pochodzą z nekrologów K. A. Posse (1912) i S. Dicksteina (1912) oraz ze wspomnień I. Ja. Depmana (1960), którzy znali go osobiście. Chcemy przybliżyć współczesnemu czytelnikowi tego zapomnianego polskiego matematyka pracującego w Petersburgu. Po omówieniu jego biografii krótko omawiamy jego prace matematyczne. Na zakończenie artykułu cytujemy artykuły i książki związane z dorobkiem naukowym Ptaszyckiego oraz podajemy pełną listę prac i ksiązek, które opublikował a także listę prac, gdzie można znaleźć informacje o nim.

- Summary. Life of Alfred Rosenblatt (1880-1947) is precisely discribed. We tried to bring the Polish reader forgotten figure of the Krakow mathematics. We have gathered all the information related to his life, his work and achievements in mathematics and in applications of mathematics. We greached also written information about it in Spanish. Rosenblatt has published almostthree hundred scientific papers in many areas of mathematics and its applications. In addition, he participated in four International Congresses of Mathematicians in Cambridge (1912), Strasbourg (1920), Bologna (1928) and Zurich (1932). Streszczenie. Zycie Alfreda Rosenblatta (1880-1947) zostało dokładnie opisane. Staralismy sie przyblizyc polskiemu czytelnikowi sylwetke tego zapomnianego krakowskiego matematyka.Zebralismy wszelkie informacje zwiazane z jego zyciem, jego pracami i osiagnieciami wmatematyce oraz w zastosowaniach matematyki. Dotarlismy rowniez do informacji pisanych o nim po hiszpansku. Rosenblatt opublikowal prawie trzysta prac naukowych w wieludziedzinach matematyki i jej zastosowan. Ponadto uczestniczyl w czterech Miedzynarodowych Kongresach Matematykow w Cambridge (1912), Strasburgu (1920), Bolonii (1928) i Zurichu (1932).

- The aim of the paper is to present scientific and educationalachievements of Alfred Rosenblatt (1880-1947). We have collected thefirst complete list of scientific papers and books by Rosenblatt. Thelist is divided into the following parts: textbooks and monographs, scientificarticles in the field of mathematics and its applications, astronomy,history of mathematics and reviews, translations and other. Frompublished and unpublished sources we collected information about hislectures and short presentations on conferences, among others on InternationalCongresses of Mathematicians, Congresses of Mathematiciansof Slavic Countries, Polish Mathematical Society Meetings and others.Complete list of Rosenblatt’s academic lectures at the Jagiellonian Universityand available information about lectures at the National Universityof San Marcos in Lima are collected. A very short biographyof Rosenblatt and overview of his scientific results in algebraic geometry,differential equations, analytic function, calculus of variations,probability theory and statistics, and application of mathematics inhydrodynamic is presented.Streszczenie Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie dorobku naukowegoi dydaktycznego Alfreda Rosenblatta (1880-1947). Zgromadzilsmypierwszy kompletny spis jego artykułów i ksiazek naukowych,z podziałem na: podreczniki i monografie, artykuły naukowe z zakresumatematyki i jej zastosowan, astronomii, historii matematyki w tymbiografie oraz recenzje, tłumaczenia i inne. Zebralismy w publikowanychi niepublikowanych zródłach informacje o jego odczytach, w tymo odczytach i komunikatach na Miedzynarodowych Kongresach Matematyków,wystapieniach na Kongresach Matematyków Krajów Słowianskich,Zjazdach PTM i innych.
