1.	2016 Workshop on Exascale Multi/Many Core Computing Systems (E-MuCoCoS) 2016 Samlingsverk (redaktörskap) (refereegranskat)abstract Exascale computing will revolutionize computational science and engineering by providing 1000x the capabilities of currently available computing systems, while having a similar power footprint. The HPC community is working towards the development of the first Exaflop computer after reaching the Petaflop milestone in 2008. There are concerns that computer designs based on existing multi-core and many-core solutions will not scale to Exascale considering technical challenges (such as, productivity, energy consumption or reliability) and reasonable economic constraints. Therefore, novel multi-core and many-core solutions are required to reach Exascale. The E-MuCoCoS workshop series focuses on multi/many core languages, system software and architectural solutions for extreme-scale systems towards Exascale.

The integration of multivariate data into complex networks and their visual analysis is one of the big challenges not only in visualization, but also in many application areas. Thus, in order to support discussions related to the visualization of real world data, also invited researchers from selected application areas, especially bioinformatics, social sciences, and software engineering. The unique "Dagstuhl climate" ensured an open and undisturbed atmosphere to discuss the state-of-the-art, new directions, and open challenges of multivariate network visualization.

The 59 revised papers presented together with 5 invited talks were carefully selected from 170 submissions. The scope of the conference is on all aspects of computing with constraints, including: theory, algorithms, environments, languages, models and systems, applications such as decision making, resource allocation, and agreement technologies.

Professional Search in the Modern World : COST Action IC1002 on Multilingual and multifaceted Interactive Information Access 2014 Samlingsverk (redaktörskap) (populärvet., debatt m.m.)abstract The aims of this book are to present, discuss, analyze, and review outstanding research, recent developments, and new directions in all aspects related to multi-faceted and interactive information access with a focus on professional and enterprise search. It brings together material that has been published in a fragmentary way in journals and conference papers into a coherent whole but also presents novel, unpublished work. The work is tightly linked to the COST Action IC1002 on Multilingual and Multifaceted Interactive Information Access (MUMIA) whose objective is to foster research and technology transfer between a diverse set of disciplines working on different aspects of next-generation information systems. Contributions include chapters from distinguished academics and researchers from the fields of information retrieval (IR), natural language processing (NLP), and human-computer interaction (HCI).
