- Economic stress under wage-earning has been abolished. Machines and AI have taken over dirty, heavy and tedious work. Money and social injustice are banned. All the technological resources of humanity can be used to reset the global economy to harmonize with ecology. Free citizens can spend their time in leisure practicing music, art, and poetry.Visions of the future are already here. But is it a utopia that we are seeing materializing around us or a dystopia? What will happen to people when nobody wants their labor? Does there already exist a firm border between those who have a job, with all that it entails in social and economic benefits, and the people that are on the other side of the fence- the people that have to sell their work by the hour, and who in practice are modern slaves under apps and SMS? A division between people who can safely work from home during a pandemic and those who cannot. Is everything for sale? Can you sell voluntary labour? These are some of the questions discussed in the art projects documented in this book.

- In Serious Personal Conviction – on measurements of conscience, we encounter two groups of people interviewed on different occasions discussing consciousness and ethics in relation to the military system. One of the groups are men that during the 1970s and ‘80s chose to perform non-combatant service and now reflect on the choices they made as 18-year olds. The other group consists of young people of today trying to answer several questions regarding the right to take another person's life. The exposition is part of the artistic research project Refuse to Kill – stories of the conscientious objectors. Our methodology involves a montage of a large number of voices collectively collected through statistical surveys, open-call procedure via advertising in newspapers and the internet, interviews and searches in archives.

The journey of the Kon-Tiki from Peru to Polynesia in 1947 became one of the founding myths of the postwar world. In the voyage of six Scandinavians and a parrot on a balsa raft across the Pacific Ocean the classic journey of discovery was re-invented for generations to come. Kon-Tiki spoke of heroism, masculinity, free-spirited rebellion against scientific dogmatism, and the promise of an attainable exotic world, while it updated these mythological staples to fit the times. After years of relentless media exploitation of the 101-day raft journey, Heyerdahl emerged as the protagonist in a legend that helped to create a new postwar West. A Hero for the Atomic Age tells the story of how Heyerdahl organized an expedition to sail a balsa raft from Callao in Peru to the Tuamotu Islands in French Polynesia, and explains how he turned this physical crossing into an epic narrative that became imbued with a universal appeal. The book also addresses the problematic nature of Heyerdahl’s theory that a white culture-bearing race had initiated all the world’s great civilizations.

- Denna skrift är resultatet av de studier som Konsthögskolans arkitekturskola ägnade Kävlinge samhälle 1981-82. Den innehåller den första samlade beskrivningen av Kävlinges historiska utveckling, dess växt och bebyggelse, med tyngdpunkt på expansionen vid slutet av 1800-talet och början av 1900-talet. I detalj behandlas det tegelbyggande som blev den snabba tillväxtens fysiska uttryck. I rader av uppmätningar visas de kännetecknande dragen från den tiden upp, något som också idag präglar stora delar av Kävlinges byggnadsbestånd. Med historia och bebyggelseutveckling som grund diskuteras vidare en rad angelägna planeringsuppgifter i centrala Kävlinge. Förslag till förbättringar och kompletteringar i miljön redovisas. Dessa visar också prov på möjligheterna att åter använda tegel som karaktärsgivande fasadmaterial i anknytning till den lokala byggnadstraditionen.
