  • Coulomb breakup of 17Ne from the viewpoint of nuclear astrophysics

    • By the Coulomb breakup of 17Ne, the time-reversed reaction 15O(2p,γ)17Ne has been studied. This reaction might play an important role in the rp process, as a break-out reaction of the hot CNO cycle. The secondary 17Ne ion beam with an energy of 500 MeV/nucleon has been dissociated in a Pb target. The reaction products have been detected with the LAND-R3B experimental setup at GSI. The preliminary differential and integral Coulomb dissociation cross section sCoul has been determined, which then will be converted into a photo-absorption cross section sphoto, and a two-proton radiative capture cross section σcap. Additionally, information about the structure of the 17Ne, a potential two-proton halo nucleus, will be received.   • Integration of Multi-scale Spatial Digital Twins in Metaverse Based on Multi-dimensional Hash Geocoding

    • With the popularization of the metaverse, virtual reality mapping technology based on digital twins has generated a large amount of spatial data. These data are multidimensional, multi-scale, mobile, and distributed. In order to fully utilize these data, we propose a non mutation multidimensional hash geocoding that can organize and store data with geographic features, and achieve data mapping at different scales from macro to micro. The mapping between them can achieve joint utilization of data of various scales. On this basis, we propose a block network secure storage mapping model for spatial digital twins, which can securely and reliably organize and map spatial data. This article also looks forward to the possible emergence of digital twins of different dimensions and scales in the future metaverse, and proposes an adaptive 3D reconstruction method based on this to adapt to digital twins models of different scales in the metaverse. On the basis of our work, we will further promote the development of the spatial digital twin metaverse.

    • As a new type of functional material, magnetic fluid has both the fluidity of liquid and the magnetic properties of solid magnetic material. By controlling the magnets, one can simulate the effect of manipulating liquids like a sea emperor. This will provide new ideas for the multiverse of the metaverse. Not only that, magnetic fluids also have very important applications in astrophysics, controlled thermonuclear reactions and even the medical industry. Therefore, this paper hopes to provide a control idea for the future application of magnetic fluid by performing Digital Twins simulation of magnetic fluid.

    • The internal magnetic field in a ferromagnetic compound, Y2Co12P7 with T-C = 150 K, was studied with mu(+) SR using a powder sample down to 2 K. The wTF-mu(+) SR measurements revealed the presence of a sharp magnetic transition at T-C = 151 K, and the ZF-mu(+) SR measurements clarified the formation of static magnetic order below T-C. The presence of two muon spin precession signals in the ZF-mu(+) SR spectrum below TC indicates the existence of the two different muon sites in the lattice. By considering the muon sites and local spin densities at the muon sites predicted with DFT calculations, the ordered magnetic moments of Co were successfully determined.

    • We present a new visual programming method, based on Combilog, a compositional relational programming language. In this paper we focus on the compositional aspect of Combilog, the make operator, visually implementing it via a modification of Higraph diagrams, in an attempt to overcome the obscurity and complexity in the textual representation of this operator.

    • How might the content and outcomes of tertiary education programmes be described and analysed in order to understand how they are structured and function? To address this question we develop a framework for modelling graduate competencies linked to tertiary degree programmes in the computing disciplines. While the focus of our work is computing the framework is applicable to education more broadly. The work presented here draws upon the pioneering curricular document for information technology (IT2017), curricular competency frameworks, other related documents such as the software engineering competency model (SWECOM), the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), current research in competency models, and elicitation workshop results from recent computing conferences. The aim is to inform the ongoing Computing Curricula (CC2020) project, an endeavour supported by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE Computer Society. We develop the Competency Learning Framework (CoLeaF), providing an internationally relevant tool for describing competencies. We argue that this competency based approach is well suited for constructing learning environments and assists degree programme architects in dealing with the challenge of developing, describing and including competencies relevant to computer and IT professionals. In this paper we demonstrate how the CoLeaF competency framework can be applied in practice, and though a series of case studies demonstrate its effectiveness and analytical power as a tool for describing and comparing degree programmes in the international higher education landscape.
