- This paper suggests shifting the focus from a visual aesthetic of the body to an aesthetics emerging form the experience of wearing. Historically the aesthetics of wearing has been mainly concerned with visual aspects of body; how dress looks on you/make your body look rather than how it feels and what it does with you. Building further on the notion somatic garment as introduced by Sally E Dean (2011) and somatic style as defined by Shusterman (2012) the project addresses the experience of wearing and its effect on our emotional state and as bodily aesthetics. It is a practical exploration contributing to a theoretical discussion. The findings result from an interdisciplinary study intersecting fashion design and choreography, explored through interactive installations and performances developed over the course of 2 years. In 4 performances, 4 workshops and 3 exhibitions nationally and internationally the tactile and informing potential of wearing has been investigated. The results suggest a particular kind of wear-thinking that affects the body aesthetics through how it imposes movement patterns, positioning, tempo and emotions and through this it affects not only the emotional state of mind body also the appearance of the body. Gurevich and a book dedicated to his memory and ideas Saluting Aron Gurevich: Essays in History, Literature and Other Related Subjects (Brill, Spring 2010). The session will unite the contributors of the volume, its editor, illustrator, as well as Gurevich's longtime friends, colleagues, and disciples. It should interest and attract all those interested in historians' role in history, Soviet historiography, medieval popular culture, Scandinavian medieval history, historical anthropology, and historical research in general. Participants include Viktor Aldrin (Göteborgs Universitet), John H. Arnold (Birkbeck College, University of London), Michael Clanchy (Institute of Historical Research, University of London), Francisca Shilova (Independent Scholar, Amsterdam), and Yury Zaretskiy (State University, Higher School of Economics, Moscow).

- This article studies a special type of verbal coordination in Swedish, pseudocoordination, which involves two verbs or verb phrases typically combined with och ‘and’. Although it consists of two verbs with a conjunction between them, pseudocoordination in many ways behaves like a subordinating complex-predicate construction. In the literature, pseudocoordination is treated more or less explicitly as a unitary phenomenon, but previous diachronic studies of some types of pseudocoordination point in slightly different directions regarding the origin of pseudocoordinations with different first verbs. It has been claimed that they originate in (canonical) verbal coordinations, but it has also been claimed that they are originally hypotactic structures in which the conjunction is a covert infinitival marker (both are typically pronounced in the same way today). To the best of our knowledge, the gå och V ‘walk/go and V’ construction has not previously been studied both diachronically and corpus-based. By examining gå och V in historical corpora, we therefore add to the historical knowledge of pseudocoordination with gå in Swedish. The gå och V construction is particularly interesting since it has multiple meanings and since it, unlike the bulk of Swedish pseudocoordinations, also has subordination counterparts in Modern Swedish.
