- The aim of this article is to discuss challenges in the development of Specialist Nursing Educations as a result of the 2007 Swedish Higher EducationReform: the implementation of the so-called Bologna process. Certain challenges follow this reform, particularly since the specialist nursingprogrammes will be part of the second cycle of the higher education system, and it will be possible to combine the professional degree witha masters degree (one year). Possible strategies in four areas related to the Specialist Nursing Education are discussed: integration of researchbasedknowledge, experienced-based knowledge, improvement knowledge, and strategies for collaboration between university institutions andclinics. Specific didactical issues are raised.

- This paper addresses interactions between technological innovation systems (TIS) and wider "context structures". While TIS studies have always considered various kinds of contextual influences, we suggest that the TIS framework can be further strengthened by a more elaborated conceptualization of TIS context structures and TIS-context interactions. For that purpose, we identify and discuss four especially important types of context structures: technological, sectorial, geographical and political. For each of these, we provide examples of different ways in which context structures can interact with a focal TIS and how our understanding of TIS dynamics is enhanced by considering them explicitly. Lessons for analysts are given and a research agenda is outlined.

- This chapter discusses how different analytical perspectives affect what policy interventions are deemed warranted and effective in supporting the industrial transformation required to reach climate neutrality. The development of wind and solar power over the last 40 years gives hope and provides useful examples of successful policies. However, the European Commission has for long opposed many of these policies, due to a narrow focus on market failures and static cost efficiency derived from a neoclassical economics perspective. Recent documents in the EU indicate a new focus on innovation and industrial change, which may enhance the EU's ability to lead the climate transition. For this, a broader analytical perspective is required, such as the technological innovation systems approach, which stresses dynamic long-term efficiency, acknowledges the need for technology-specific policies, including market formation, and uses system weaknesses as guide to policy intervention.

Peers, policy, and attitudes as drivers of antibiotic prescribing

- In this study we investigated how treatment norms about antibiotic use affect a doctor´s decision to prescribe antibiotics. We also investigated the attitudes and behavior of the same physicians as private persons. We find that compared with ordinary citizens, physicians are more worried and more well-informed about antibiotic resistance and use, yet they consume more antibiotics and are less willing to limit their personal use of antibiotics. There is a strong correlation between a doctor´s decision not to prescribe and the treatment norms, i.e., the perception of the common choice among physicians considering antibiotics prescription and the guidelines of antibiotics use. We also find a strong connection between professional and private attitudes: Although physicians themselves on average use more antibiotics than the general public, those who are willing to abstain from using antibiotics as a private person are also more willing not to prescribe antibiotics to their patients.
