  • The Seventh Visual Object Tracking VOT2019 Challenge Results
  • 2019
  • Ingår i: 2019 IEEE/CVF INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER VISION WORKSHOPS (ICCVW). - : IEEE COMPUTER SOC. - 9781728150239 ; , s. 2206-2241
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The Visual Object Tracking challenge VOT2019 is the seventh annual tracker benchmarking activity organized by the VOT initiative. Results of 81 trackers are presented; many are state-of-the-art trackers published at major computer vision conferences or in journals in the recent years. The evaluation included the standard VOT and other popular methodologies for short-term tracking analysis as well as the standard VOT methodology for long-term tracking analysis. The VOT2019 challenge was composed of five challenges focusing on different tracking domains: (i) VOT-ST2019 challenge focused on short-term tracking in RGB, (ii) VOT-RT2019 challenge focused on "real-time" short-term tracking in RGB, (iii) VOT-LT2019 focused on long-term tracking namely coping with target disappearance and reappearance. Two new challenges have been introduced: (iv) VOT-RGBT2019 challenge focused on short-term tracking in RGB and thermal imagery and (v) VOT-RGBD2019 challenge focused on long-term tracking in RGB and depth imagery. The VOT-ST2019, VOT-RT2019 and VOT-LT2019 datasets were refreshed while new datasets were introduced for VOT-RGBT2019 and VOT-RGBD2019. The VOT toolkit has been updated to support both standard short-term, long-term tracking and tracking with multi-channel imagery. Performance of the tested trackers typically by far exceeds standard baselines. The source code for most of the trackers is publicly available from the VOT page. The dataset, the evaluation kit and the results are publicly available at the challenge website(1).

  • Phenylalkylammonium passivation enables perovskite light emitting diodes with record high-radiance operational lifetime: the chain length matters
  • 2021
  • Ingår i: Nature Communications. - : Nature Research. - 2041-1723. ; 12:1
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Perovskite light emitting diodes suffer from poor operational stability, exhibiting a rapid decay of external quantum efficiency within minutes to hours after turn-on. To address this issue, we explore surface treatment of perovskite films with phenylalkylammonium iodide molecules of varying alkyl chain lengths. Combining experimental characterization and theoretical modelling, we show that these molecules stabilize the perovskite through suppression of iodide ion migration. The stabilization effect is enhanced with increasing chain length due to the stronger binding of the molecules with the perovskite surface, as well as the increased steric hindrance to reconfiguration for accommodating ion migration. The passivation also reduces the surface defects, resulting in a high radiance and delayed roll-off of external quantum efficiency. Using the optimized passivation molecule, phenylpropylammonium iodide, we achieve devices with an efficiency of 17.5%, a radiance of 1282.8 W sr(-1) m(-2) and a record T-50 half-lifetime of 130h under 100mAcm(-2). Perovskite light emitting diodes suffer from operational stability, showing rapid decay of performance within minutes to hours after turn-on. Here, the authors investigate how the steric and Coulomb interaction of ammonium passivation molecules with varying alkyl chain length can improve device stability by suppressing iodide ion migration.

  • MBE-based SiGe/Si heterojunction multilayer structures
  • 2001
  • Ingår i: Journal of Crystal Growth. - 0022-0248 .- 1873-5002. ; 227-228, s. 744-748
  • Konferensbidrag (övrigt vetenskapligt/konstnärligt)abstract
    • In this paper, SiGe/Si multilayer heterostructures prepared by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) are described with the aim of manufacturing SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs). Based on the simulations made by Medici, device structures have been designed and grown. The quality of the MBE layered structures has been characterized by reflection high-energy electron diffraction, X-ray diffraction, secondary ion mass spectrometry and spreading resistance. Furthermore, SiGe-HBTs have been fabricated. Promising DC and RF results of processed HBT devices have been obtained. © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.

  • Discriminative Co-Saliency and Background Mining Transformer for Co-Salient Object Detection
  • 2023
  • Ingår i: 2023 IEEE/CVF CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER VISION AND PATTERN RECOGNITION, CVPR. - : IEEE COMPUTER SOC. - 9798350301298 - 9798350301304 ; , s. 7247-7256
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Most previous co-salient object detection works mainly focus on extracting co-salient cues via mining the consistency relations across images while ignore explicit exploration of background regions. In this paper, we propose a Discriminative co-saliency and background Mining Transformer framework (DMT) based on several economical multi-grained correlation modules to explicitly mine both co-saliency and background information and effectively model their discrimination. Specifically, we first propose a region-to-region correlation module for introducing inter-image relations to pixel-wise segmentation features while maintaining computational efficiency. Then, we use two types of pre-defined tokens to mine co-saliency and background information via our proposed contrast-induced pixel-to-token correlation and co-saliency token-to-token correlation modules. We also design a token-guided feature refinement module to enhance the discriminability of the segmentation features under the guidance of the learned tokens. We perform iterative mutual promotion for the segmentation feature extraction and token construction. Experimental results on three benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method. The source code is available at: https://github.com/dragonlee258079/DMT.

  • On-surface synthesis of 2D COFs via molecular assembly directed photocycloadditions: a first-principles investigation
  • 2021
  • Ingår i: Journal of Physics. - : IOP PUBLISHING LTD. - 0953-8984 .- 1361-648X. ; 33:47
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Over the past decades, the rational synthesis of two-dimensional covalent organic framework (2D COFs) monolayer via on-surface chemistry has been widely explored. Herein, we propose the [2 + 2] photocycloaddition as a novel strategy for large-scale fabrication of COFs from theoretical perspective. Thanks to the symmetry forbidden of thermal [2 + 2] cycloaddition, the molecular precursors carrying vinyl groups will not chemically interact with each other during thermal annealing, which is essential to achieve molecular assembly. The subsequent photocycloaddition of these precursors may produce large-scale 2D COFs at low temperatures, in which the symmetry of molecular assembly remains unchanged. Our results show that 2D COFs can be produced via [2 + 2] photocycloadditions directed from self-assembled precursors, in which alkylbenzene molecules with vinyl groups on side chains exhibit appropriate intermolecular distances. By performing high-throughput calculations, several promising molecular precursors are proposed to achieve large-scale 2D COFs. This work provides an applicable strategy for the large-scale synthesis of 2D carbon materials.
