  • Theoretical energies, transition rates, lifetimes, hyperfine interaction constants and Lande g(J-)factors for the Se XXVII spectrum of fusion interest
  • 2018
  • Ingår i: Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer. - : Elsevier. - 0022-4073 .- 1879-1352. ; 206, s. 213-232
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • An extensive set of level energies, wavelengths, line strengths, oscillator strengths, lifetimes, hyperfine structures, Lande g(J)-factors, electric dipole (E1), magnetic dipole (M1), electric quadrupole (E2), and magnetic quadrupole (M2) radiative transition rates among the lowest 318 states arising from the 2s(2)2p(4), 2s2(p)5, 2p(6), 2s(2)2p(3)3l (l = 0, 1, 2), 2s2p(4)31 (l = 0, 1, 2), 2p(5)3l (l = 0, 1, 2), and 2s(2)2p(3)4l (l = 0, 1, 2, 3) configurations has been obtained for Se XXVII. These new data, calculated within the frameworks of the multi-configuration Dirac-Hartree-Fock method and the second-order many-body perturbation theory, fill in the gap existing in the atomic data needed for the diagnostic processes of tokamak plasmas. Using two methods allowed us to make an intercomparison and to estimate the uncertainties on the obtained data. The results arising in the two sets of calculations are quite close, suggesting that there is a high degree of convergence achieved in our work. i.e., our two sets of energies agree to better than 0.02%, and the lifetimes mostly agree to within 2%. Comparison is also made with the limited number of experimental data and previous computations to assess the accuracy of our calculations. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

    • The papers in this special section examines the deployment of Big Data and artificial intelligence for network technologies. The eneration of huge amounts of data, called big data, is creating the need for efficient tools to manage those data. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become the powerful tool in dealing with big data with recent breakthroughs at multiple fronts in machine learning, including deep learning. Meanwhile, information networks are becoming larger and more complicated, generating a huge amount of runtime statistics data such as traffic load, resource usages. The emerging big data and AI technologies may include a bunch of new requirements, applications and scenarios such as e-health, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and smart cities in the term of computing networks. The big data and AI driven network technologies also provide an unprecedented patient to discover new features, to characterize user demands and system capabilities in network resource assignment, security and privacy, system architecture, modeling and applications, which needs more explorations. The focus of this special section is to address the big data and artificial intelligence for network technologies. We appreciate contributions to this special section and the valuable and extensive efforts of the reviewers. The topics of this special section range from big data and AI algorithms, models, architecture for networks and systems to network architecture.

  • Effects of short-term motor training on accuracy and precision of simple jaw and finger movements after orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery : A case-control study
  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Journal of Oral Rehabilitation. - : John Wiley & Sons. - 1365-2842. ; 50:8, s. 635-643
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • BACKGROUND: Orthognathic surgery has been performed with increasing frequency for the treatment of severe malocclusion, yet the postsurgical neuromuscular recovery of patients has been inadequately studied.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of short-term and simple jaw motor training on accuracy and precision of jaw motor control in patients following orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery.METHODS: ) to describe the motor performance. Furthermore, the changes in amplitude before and after training were measured in percentage.RESULTS: of simple jaw and finger movements significantly decreased after motor training (p ≤ .018) in all groups. The relative changes in finger movements were higher than jaw movements (p < .001) but with no differences among the groups (p ≥ .247).CONCLUSION: Both accuracy and precision of simple jaw and finger movements improved after short-term motor training in all three groups, demonstrating the inherent potential for optimization of novel motor tasks. Finger movements improved more than jaw movements but with no differences between groups, suggesting that changes in occlusion and craniofacial morphology are not associated with impaired neuroplasticity or physiological adaptability of jaw motor function.

  • Benchmarking Atomic Data for Astrophysics : Be-like Ions between B II and Ne VII
  • 2018
  • Ingår i: Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series. - : Institute of Physics (IOP). - 0067-0049 .- 1538-4365. ; 234:2
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Large-scale self-consistent multiconfiguration Dirac-Hartree-Fock and relativistic configuration interaction calculations are reported for the n <= 6 levels in Be-like ions from B II to Ne VII. Effects from electron correlation are taken into account by means of large expansions in terms of a basis of configuration state functions, and a complete and accurate data set of excitation energies; lifetimes; wavelengths; electric dipole, magnetic dipole, electric quadrupole, and magnetic quadrupole line strengths; transition rates; and oscillator strengths for these levels is provided for each ion. Comparisons are made with available experimental and theoretical results. The uncertainty of excitation energies is assessed to be 0.01% on average, which makes it possible to find and rule out misidentifications and aid new line identifications involving high-lying levels in astrophysical spectra. The complete data set is also useful for modeling and diagnosing astrophysical plasmas.

  • Calculations with spectroscopic accuracy : Energies and transition rates in the nitrogen isoelectronic sequence from Ar XII to Zn XXIV
  • 2016
  • Ingår i: Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series. - : American Astronomical Society. - 0067-0049 .- 1538-4365. ; 223:1
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Combined relativistic configuration interaction and many-body perturbation calculations are performed for the 359 fine-structure levels of the 2s2 2p3, 2 s2p4, 2p5, 2s2 2p2 3l, 2 s2p3 3l, 2p4 3l, and 2s2 2p2 4l configurations in N-like ions from Ar XII to Zn XXIV. Complete and consistent data sets of energies, wavelengths, radiative rates, oscillator strengths, and line strengths for all possible electric dipole, magnetic dipole, electric quadrupole, and magnetic quadrupole transitions among the 359 levels are given for each ion. The present work significantly increases the amount of accurate data for ions in the nitrogen-like sequence, and the accuracy of the energy levels is high enough to enable the identification and interpretation of observed spectra involving the n=3, 4 levels, for which experimental values are largely scarce. Meanwhile, the results should be of great help for modeling and diagnosing astrophysical and fusion plasmas.

  • EXTENDED RELATIVISTIC CONFIGURATION INTERACTION AND MANY-BODY PERTURBATION CALCULATIONS OF SPECTROSCOPIC DATA FOR THE N 6 CONFIGURATIONS IN Ne-LIKE IONS BETWEEN Cr XV AND Kr XXVII
  • 2016
  • Ingår i: Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series. - : American Astronomical Society. - 0067-0049 .- 1538-4365. ; 226:2
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Level energies, wavelengths, electric dipole, magnetic dipole, electric quadrupole, and magnetic quadrupole transition rates, oscillator strengths, and line strengths from combined relativistic con guration interaction and many-body perturbation calculations are reported for the 201 ne-structure states of the 2s22p6, 2s22p53l, 2s2p63l, 2s22p54l, 2s2p64l, 2s22p55l, and 2s22p56l con gurations in all Ne-like ions between Cr XV and Kr XXVII. Calculated level energies and transition data are compared with experiments from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and CHIANTI databases, and other recent benchmark calculations. The mean energy difference with the NIST experiments is only 0.05%. The present calculations signi cantly increase the amount of accurate spectroscopic data for the n > 3 states in a number of Ne-like ions of astrophysical interest. A complete data set should be helpful for analyzing new observations from solar and other astrophysical sources, and is also likely to be useful for modeling and diagnosing a variety of plasmas, including astronomical and fusion plasma.
