- Detta dokument är framtaget som en intern rapport inom MerSam – Meritvärde av samverkansskicklighet, varsprojekttid löpt under 2017 – 2020. MerSam är ett av Vinnovas 17 finansierade K3-projekt. Rapporten utgör ensammanställning av insamlad information från dokument, dialoger, workshoppar, intervjuer och enkäter.Rapporten visar på användning av begrepp och tolkning av begrepp. Syftet är att beskriva en nulägesbild ochutifrån den samla och lyfta fram vilka begrepp som förslagsvis kan användas i projektets slutleveranser. Slutsatser och rekommendationer har tagits fram med delaktighet av hela MerSam projektet och hardiskuterats på projektmöten, projektworkshopar den 17-18 juni 2020 samt den 15 oktober 2020.

- © 2017 Elsevier Ltd The aim of this paper is to explore, illustrate and conceptualise how the introduction of mobile phones transforms the practice of shopping. Drawing on a focus group study of young adults and making use of Practice Theory, this paper shows that the introduction of mobile phones reconfigures the practice of shopping subsequently transforming the agency of consumers. Mobile phones enable consumers to access, store, and process information in new ways; supporting new modes of social shopping, enabling consumers to change the experience of shopping, and making them better equipped economic actors with more access to financial systems and new calculative capacities. While this new agency is beneficial to consumers, it also causes them stress and anxiety.

- The aim of this paper is to describe, conceptualise and critically discuss how and with what consequences marketing is used to construct a mass market for vegan substitutes. Drawing on the concepts of the marketing device and qualification, it shows how Oatly – a Swedish company making oat-based products – enrols three sets of marketing devices, i.e. digital media, packaging and stores, to simultaneously ‘alternativise’ and ‘convenienise’ its range of vegan products. The result is the material and discursive construction of a range of vegan products that is qualified as different enough from conventional dairy products to be an attractive alternative, but similar enough to fit into existing practices of shopping for food, cooking and eating. By qualifying products along multiple registers, Oatly constructs ‘plastic’ products, which can be consumed, for various reasons, by various groups of consumers thus enacting a multi-niche market for its products.

- This panel debates whether the ways in which social media are changing the nature, creation, seeking, use and sharing of information constitute a transformation or are primarily marked by continuity. Ubiquitous and everyday access to social media (for some) seems to be bringing about changes in social practice, including of information-related activities, such that conceptualisations of information itself are potentially reshaped. Discussants draw inspiration from the pervasive impact on information activities of the everyday adoption of social media. At a theoretical level they also draw inspiration from the analytic resources of contemporary practice theory and its emphasis on materiality and embodiment, routine and change, social expectations and social identity, and knowledge as a process. All the participants of the panel have conducted new empirical research on social media use with a focus on its deep as well as broad impact. The audience members are invited to discuss with the panelists questions such as how social media relate to routinised daily practices and institutionalised practices and hierarchies, how their use refashions social relationships, how they turn information seekers and users into information managers, producers and creators and shape perceptions of information authority and trustworthiness, and how a new theorisation can help librarians, information professionals and researchers understand change and assume a proactive role in it.

- Sekretariatet för nationell biblioteksstrategi vid Kungliga Biblioteket har givit de fem biblioteks- och informationsvetenskapliga utbildningarna vid Högskolan i Borås, Linnéuniversitetet, Lunds univeritet, Umeå universitet och Uppsala universitet uppdraget att utreda och formulera förslag kring utbildning och forskning för en stärkt bibliotekarieprofession. Syftet med föreliggande rapport är, att visa situationen för svensk biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap, tydliggöra relationen till bibliotekarieprofessionen och lämna strategiska förslag på hur ämnet kan förstärkas till förmån för en stärkt professionsutvecklig. En omvärldsanalys med riktning mot bibliotekssektorn görs samt en beskrivning av nuläget för biblioteks- och informationsvetenskaplig utbildning och forskning. Biblioteks- och informationsvetenskapens centrala betydelse för bibliotekarieprofessionen lyfts fram. Utbildingsprogrammen i ämnet attraherar gott om studenter och som svar på bibliotekens konstaterade behov av biblioteks- och informationsvetenskapligt utbildad personal argumenterar rapportförfattarna för möjligheten att expandera utbildningarna på kandidat- och masternivå vid samtliga fem lärosäten. Inom forskningen konstateras, att trots att ämnet idag i grunden fungerar väl finns ännu svårigheter att erhålla finansiering för professionsinriktad biblioteksforskning. Omvärldsanalysen visar upp ett behov av en tydligare struktur för kontinuerlig kompetensutveckling inom bibliotekarieprofessionen. Rapporten mynnar ut i fem strategiska förslag rörande grundutbildning, forskning och kontinuerlig kompetensutveckling:En ökning av antalet studieplatser på program på kandidat- och masternivå i biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap.Nationell forskarskola för biblioteksforskning.Inrättande av en externfinansierad professur med inriktning mot biblioteksforskning.Stärkt finansieringsstruktur för biblioteksforskning.Etablerande av en samlad nationell struktur för kontinuerlig kompetensutveckling.

- The present study investigates the dental work in terms of time distribution and mechanical exposure in value-adding work (VAW) and non-VAW. Further rationalisation of dental work would typically involve an increase in the proportion of VAW. Information on mechanical exposure within the classes of VAW and non-VAW may be used to predict possible implications of rationalisation. Sixteen dentists were investigated. Using a data logger, postures and movements were continuously recorded for each subject during the 4 h of work, which included the 45 min of video recording. Time distribution and mechanical exposure for the six different work activities identified were evaluated from the video recordings, using a loss analysis technique. VAW, which comprised 54% of the total working time, generally implied significantly more constrained mechanical exposures as compared with non-VAW. The results suggest that future rationalisation of dental work, involving a reduction of non-VAW, may increase the risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders.Statement of Relevance: The present study illustrates the potential effects of rationalisation on biomechanical exposures for dentists. The results highlight the significance of integrating ergonomic issues into the rationalisation process in dentistry in addition to ordinary workstation and tool design improvements performed by ergonomists.

- The panel initiates a discussion on the role of information behaviour research in addressing majorchallenges facing our society. These include climate change, political extremism, and health threats –in many of which information plays a crucial role. The panel asks, first, what is the role andresponsibility of information behaviour research in addressing societal challenges, and second, is therea risk of jeopardising the conceptual coherence of the research field if information behaviourresearchers to a greater extent direct their research to address major societal challenges? In the panel,five panelists will present their specific position to the questions after which all attendees are invited toparticipate in the discussion. A broad audience is expected, as the topic should be of interest toeveryone at the conference.
