- The essay comprises a presentation of the single Romanian language lectureship from Sweden, focusing on the following: a brief history of the existence of the Romanian language at Lund University; the organization and the functioning of the lectureship, the didactic activity; the making of the didactic and auxiliary papers; the development of the lectureship along the academic year; activities for promoting the Romanian language, culture and civilization in the hosting country; the scientific activity; taking part in professional development activities, conferences, symposiums, international projects. For the final part I quote a revealing fragment from the BA essay of a Swedish student from the online courses.

- Digital technologies have undoubtedly changed the outline of the organization of the modern society and indicated an emergence of the new era of its governance. Such manifestations of digitalization as social media, platform economy, big data, AI, fintech, blockchain and internet of things have become an integral and sometimes even unnoticeable part of our life having brought up, on the one hand, new solutions to the long-running problems (for example, an increased possibility of dismantling arbitrariness in decision-making processes originally carried out by humans) and, on the other hand, new unresolved challenges that pose questions to the suitability of the current legal framework regulating the digital society that is characterized by high level of flexibility and unpredictability of the results that is, however, underpinned by partially identifiable initial risks. The peculiarities of hi-tech solutions require refashioning existing modes of regulation that in its turn has a drastic impact on the edifice of EU law, including one of its cornerstones, namely the doctrine of general principles. The general principles of EU law have always been notable for their capacity of being swiftly responsive to the transformations occurring in the society and being better equipped for addressing the alterations inevitably affecting the constitutional foundations of the EU.

- The current procedure of doctoral itinerary does not leave many choices to the doctoral supervisor: Once admitted, the doctoral student is required to defend three reports that are not graded in any way, and the commission can only offer some recommendations. The PhD supervisor cannot reject the report before supporting it. Everything is more a formality. Understanding this, many PhD students do not respond to the doctoral supervisor's requests constantly, but only when they have some goodwill. The doctoral supervisor can only react when the time arrives for the defence of the whole thesis. In this way, the PhD candidate can end up blocked after three years' work of suspicious success. In this way, the thesis maynot receive aapproval for being defended. This is why many scientific conflicts are conducive to weird court cases.
