Zum Verhältnis von Bildungstheorien und Bildungsforschung

• The topic of this contribution is a kind of wasteland in the self-conception of the Educational Sciences: The relevance of educational theories and research for the statistics research on education. Dietrich Benner (2008: 7) prominently and forcefully pointed it out as a desideratum of research. The corresponding arena has been mostly formed in a mutual interplay by the scientific pedagogy and its reference disciplines, and it is diversely displayed. Some of the historical stages of this interplay will be sketched and a proposal for conceptualising the desideratum will be opened.

Gemeint ist die Relevanz erziehungswissenschaftlicherTheorien und Forschung für die empirische Bildungsforschung. Diese Leerstelleund zugleich Arena wurde von der Pädagogik und ihren Bezugswissenschaften ineinem langen historischen Wechselspiel kreiert und divers bespielt. EinigeStationen werden hier nachgezeichnet und es wird eine Perspektive eröffnet.
