Toolbox, current status and review of practise : Selcetion of maintenance candidates

• This overall project aims to advance the development and implementation of practical strategies andtools to assist road authorities in optimising the maintenance of their road networks, whilststill addressing the key interests and expectations of road users.ToolBox will develop a “concept for proper maintenance planning” to assure the selection ofadequate maintenance works (“schemes” or “objects”) to make effective use of themaintenance budget, based on available road condition data, to give minimal negativeeffects on road users, safety for road workers and the environment. This report presents an overview of the project.
