Playing the ‘Magic If’ in organizational intervention, THIRD: SPACE for Learning on Artists and Organizations, International Summer School & Learning Jam at Artlab, Copenhagen, Denmark (keynote)

• The keynote and performative lecture Playing the ‘Magic If’ in organizational intervention invited the audience to explore a prepared presentation area or “stage” which visualised selected features in the landscape of artistic processes and challenges related to Brattström’s on-going artistic thesis work: Playing oneself As If another – Acting and directing strategies as practical approaches in person-centred health care. The audience took part of the lecture as an interactive conversation guided by Brattström. Interactive moments as part of the lecture included among other things an invitation to the audience to participate in a staged reading of a series of scripted scenes describing a critical moment in an artistic intervention project, the scenes deriving from Brattström’s experience of working as artist in organizational intervention. The staged reading served as bases for discussions in relation to artistic research, acting and directing strategies and artistic work in organizational settings.
