A midwifery model of woman-centred care (MiMo) developed in a Nordic context

• In this chapter, a theoretical midwifery model (MiMo) of woman-centred care developed in Swedish and Icelandic birth settings will be presented and discussed. This includes the MiMo development, its main concepts and how they relate to each other. Furthermore, findings from a mixed method implementation research project on the usefulness of MiMo in practice is also presented.
