    • This article presents notes on the role of numbers in the construction of subjects, schools and educational policies, also about what they are and what they should be. Understanding numbers as social constructions, a type of socially validated language based on scientific studies, reflections are raised on how numbers catalyze objective and subjective restructuringin educational systems and in their subjects, in a global perspective, due to large-scale international assessments. Numbers enabled new paradigms of comparison between national school systems, which are no longer focused on comprehensive aspects, to emphasize competitive and hierarchical aspects, such as large-scale international assessmentsand the numbers that they provide give new senses for what education is and what it should be. © 2020 Curriculo sem Fronteiras.     • This article deals with the factors that contribute to malnutrition, considering the nutritional situation in the five communities in which interventions to improve food and nutritional security were carried out. The objective is to present a qualitative analysis of the current nutritional situation of farmers, based on data collected through a survey in the form of a questionnaire and a systematic review of the literature on food and nutritional security. The study discusses the concepts and theories related to food and nutritional security in the Mozambican context. Low agricultural income and the weak source of household income, the non-existence or lack of access to markets, poor environmental sanitation, the lack of drinking water and the lack of knowledge about the importance of food and how to combine it They lead rural populations to malnutrition.

    • This article aims to discuss issues of ethics, television regulation for children and media-education. The assumption is that the right to freedom of expression and regulation is not incompatible, but complementary - and fundamental for democratic exercise. The text presents examples of public regulation, self-regulation and television co-regulation for children in a mainly European context, especially by the Swedish model. Initiatives to ensure quality content, as well as actions to prevent potentially harmful content from being displayed in public programming grids are presented, as well as the importance of a parallel and continuous focus on media-educational actions.

    • This article assesses the anthropological research on health in Brazil in light of discussions on “modernity/coloniality” and world anthropologies. Since the 1970s, a network of anthropologists investigating the theme of health has formed and consolidated accompanying the expansion of graduate programs in the country. We describe the emergence of research groups, meetings and publications, in order to characterize Brazilian anthropology of health as a research program that distinguishes itself from the European and North American anthropologies called “medical”, “of health” or “of illness”. In order to explore the participation of Brazilian researchers in the global discourse on health and, more specifi- cially, in the North-South dialogue, the visibility and circulation of references in academic publications were examined. From a comparative perspective, we ar- gue that the international impact of Bra- zilian anthropological research reflects the historical and political processes of research in Brazil, including perspec- tives, interests, ethos and values, as well as the dynamics of production and circulation of academic and scientific production in this field of knowledge on the international scene.

    • Este artigo discute o surgimento do atual regime autoritário da Hungria como resultado de um processo que se iniciou com a transformação do regime socialista de Estado e passou pelo regime pós-socialista neoliberal. Essa transformação afetou as relações entre o Estado e a classes sociais, o controle político do Estado e a configuração das relações geopolíticas da Hungria com a União Europeia, a Rússia e a China. O ensaio examina como as tensões de classe, que se formaram sob formas anteriores da política parlamentar democrática neoliberal, foram utilizadas para construir a nova hegemonia iliberal e como o regime atual suprime essas tensões para sustentar uma burguesia nacional reconstituída por meio da centralização institucional do poder político.
