- Over the past decades, the concept of work commitment has attracted empirical research attention both as an antecedent and as a consequence of other work-related variables. Unfortunately, however, the rising interest in commitment as a phenomenon and the growth of commitment related concepts have not been accompanied by careful theoretical consideration of its conceptual domain. An important issue in terms of work commitment concerns the distinction between various foci of commitment. Employees can commit themselves, for instance, to the organization they work for, the workgroup, the job itself, their career, and the union. Another important issue concerns the dimensionality of commitment. A striking characteristic of research on the nature of commitment is that various fundamental dimensions of commitment are sometimes assigned different labels, thus increasing the risk of concept redundancy. This presentation will discuss similarities and differences between various forms of work motivation and commitment, as well as between different dimensions of commitment, in order to arrive at a clearer understanding of the fundamentals of commitment. Since a crucial issue in commitment research concerns the processes through which the different aspects of commitment are assumed to develop, the presentation will also summarize research evidence on the antecedents of commitment. The relation of commitment to various potential outcomes will also be highlighted. The presentation will also point out some future challenges.

- People with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), often associatedwith psychosocial problems and reduced quality of life, benefitfrom the guidance of trained medical social workers. Thisstudy explores the effectiveness of psychosocial treatmentin patients with RA using a structured interview to detectpsychosocial problems for 100 patients. These individualswere offered regular sessions with a medical social worker.Three types of mixed-problems were found: mixed problemsrelated to RA, mixed problems related to the life situation, andmixed problems related to a combination of RA and the lifesituation. The RA patients who reported mixed-problems attime of their diagnosis received psychosocial treatment froma medical social worker regardless of the mixed problems theyexperienced. In addition, we found that disease-related mixedproblems seemed more treatable than other problems. Socialwork in somatic healthcare seems most successful in patientswith sickness-related social and psychosocial problems.

- Utifrån de förändringar som skett vad det gäller digitalisering i högre utbildning på grund av pandemin 2020 utforskar jag vad det innebär för den teologiska utbildningen framöver. Jag för resonemanget att det finns en spänning i utbildningsinstitutioner mellan uppgiften att bedöma studenter å ena sidan samt att bilda och forma studenter å den andra. Frågan jag ställer i texten är vad som händer med en utbildningsinsstitutions förmåga att relatera till människans sårbarhet och ömsesidiga beroende i en allt mer digitaliserad utbildning.

Women’s risk assessments and the gendering of online IPED cultures and communities

- Background: This article aims to describe how women narrate their IPED use in relation to the gendering of drug cultures and communities, and to conceptually address the gender bias that has dominated the scholarly debate on IPEDs and their use relative to potential risks and harms associated with the practice.Methods: The article takes a case study-based and theoretically informed qualitative approach to data. Two online sites where women engage in discussions about IPEDs were selected. Purposive sampling was employed for data collection and reflexive thematic analysis was used to make sense of the data.Results: It is illustrated that women who use IPEDs engage in online discussions through a narrative of the Other. Variations in experiences and spaces for female subjectivity are overshadowed by stereotypes of women who use IPEDs. Stereotypical beliefs and inaccurate or non-adapted information for the female body, as well as men posing as women online in forums, complicate the distinction between genuine information, harm reduction, and misogyny.Conclusion: We argue that gendered expectations and assumptions can obscure the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, motivations, and results among women within these communities. Further and diversified research is needed in this area.

Den juridiska konstruktion som innebär att en eller flera personer kan satsa kapital i bolagsform utan att riskera mer än vad de satsat i bolaget har skapat förutsättningar både för dagens storföretag och för det stora antal mindre aktiebolag som i dag finns registrerade. För den som inte dagligen arbetar med aktiebolagslagen kan den med sina drygt 850 paragrafer uppfattas som svåröverskådlig. Syftet med denna bok är att tillhandahålla en kortfattad och pedagogisk översikt över aktiebolagslagen och dess innehåll. Aktiebolagslagen – en översikt vänder sig främst till praktiskt verksamma advokater, bolagsjurister, revisorer och andra som önskar en lättillgänglig men samtidigt innehållsrik handbok i aktiebolagsrätt. - This dissertation examines discharge from liability in the Swedish limited liability company. Under Ch. 7 § 11 of the Swedish Companies Act 2005, the shareholders shall at the annual general meeting resolve on whether to grant discharge from liability to the board members and managing director. According to Ch. 29 § 7 ABL, an action for damages against board members or the managing director may be brought if, at the general meeting of shareholders, the majority or a minority representing not less than one tenth of all shares have voted for a resolution to bring such action or, with respect to a board member or the managing director, has voted against a proposal to grant discharge from liability.The principal effect of a decision to grant discharge from liability is therefore (with some exceptions, see below) to bar any action by the company against the board members and the managing director in relation to the period that the decision covers, i.e., the financial year covered by the annual accounts presented at the shareholders’ meeting where the discharge resolution is passed.A failure to grant discharge from liability has no immediate effect on the liability of the board members and the managing director. It merely leaves the possibility open for the company (through the board or by way of a derivative lawsuit by a minority shareholder) to initiate an action for liability within a year after the annual accounts were presented. Consequently, a resolution not to grant discharge from liability does not necessarily mean that an action will be brought against the person subject to such resolution, and sometimes a refusal to grant discharge is merely used to express the shareholders’ disapproval with one or more functionaries of the company.Furthermore, granted discharge from liability is subject to a number of exceptions. The most notable of these exceptions is the one in Ch. 29 § 11 of the Companies Act which applies where, in the annual report or the auditor's report or otherwise, materially correct and complete information was not provided to the general meeting regarding the resolution or the action on which the liability proceedings are based. Exceptions also apply to criminal actions of the board members and the managing director and under certain circumstances to actions brought after the company has entered into bankruptcy.The discharge resolution under the Companies Act is fairly unique in an international perspective, and is governed by a few, briefly worded provisions in the Act. Moreover, there are few precedent cases on the topic, which means that a great number of issues and questions remain unclear in the Act. This dissertation is intended to shed some light on a number of these ambiguities.

- Personligt skadeståndsansvar i aktiebolag och därtill relaterade frågor har en hög aktualitet i ljuset av den corporate governance-debatt som förts under senare år. Boken behandlar frågeställningar kring det ansvarsfrihetsbeslut som årligen skall fattas vid årsstämman i alla svenska aktiebolag. Utifrån ett internationellt, komparativt perspektiv undersöks ansvarsfrihetsinstitutet i detalj, inklusive dess rättsverkningar och omfattning i såväl tid som personkrets samt de viktiga undantag från meddelad ansvarsfrihet som följer av lag och praxis. Beslut om ansvarsfrihet för styrelseledamöter och verkställande direktör utgör enligt aktiebolagslagen ett obligatoriskt ärende på bolagsstämma. I normalfallet har revisorerna tillstyrkt ansvarsfrihet, och det är mera sällan som frågan vållar debatt eller skapar frågeställningar vid beslutfattandet. Bolagsstämman fattar ofta rutinmässigt beslut om att bevilja styrelseledamöterna och verkställande direktören ansvarsfrihet för det gångna räkenskapsåret. Om bolagsstämman beslutat att bevilja styrelseledamot eller verkställande direktör ansvarsfrihet (eller att inte föra en skadeståndstalan) utan att minst en tiondel av samtliga aktier vid bolagsstämman har röstat emot förslaget är huvudregeln att ingen talan om skadestånd till bolaget får väckas mot personen i fråga. Denna huvudregel har vissa undantag. För det första får talan ändå väckas, om det inte i årsredovisningen eller i revisionsberättelsen eller på annat sätt har lämnats i väsentliga hänseenden riktiga och fullständiga uppgifter till bolagsstämman om det beslut eller den åtgärd som talan grundas på. Vidare får styrelsen trots beviljad ansvarsfrihet föra en skadeståndstalan som grundas på brott. Även vid konkurs är ansvarsfrihetens verkningar begränsade.
