This chapter presents a master-level course in international marketing based on community-engaged learning course design. The course utilizes real-client projects, where the educator assigns small multicultural groups of students to support local small and midsize enterprises in their initial internationalization steps. In the context of the course, the students can experience theoretical concepts in practice, reflect on them, understand business concepts, and apply them in real-life situations. This process facilitates learning and the transition from study to work. Businesses benefit from a temporary boost in human capital, gaining strategic information and reducing the cost of foreignness in advancing into a new market. Connecting students and businesses is beneficial for community and economic development. Finally, as educators come closer to business practice, they can further strengthen the relevance of the curriculum and enhance cooperation between academia and practice.
