Hasselblad, Annika, 1991- (författare) Inscribing and De-scribing Values into Welfare Technology : the Development of an Analytical Framework 2021 Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract Digitalization is currently a focal area among Scandinavian governments and has also been prioritized in welfare organizations. Welfare technology is well granted by governmental investments and includes technologies used in care by caregivers, patients, and their relatives. Earlier research has highlighted negative effects of welfare technologies in care as it decreases efficiency and leads to an excessive focus on technological determinism. To better understand this critique, this study presents an analytical framework that can be used to analyze actor values in relation to welfare technology design, implementation, and use. By providing this knowledge, this paper aims to illustrate the negative effects of welfare technologies in a deeper sense and to investigate if there is an explanation among the background of the actors.
2.	2nd Crossmmla : Multimodal learning analytics across physical and digital spaces 2018 Proceedings (redaktörskap) (refereegranskat)abstract Students’ learning is ubiquitous. It happens wherever the learner is rather than being constrained to a specific physical or digital learning space (e.g. the classroom or the institutional LMS respectively). A critical question is: how to integrate and coordinate learning analytics to provide continued support to learning across physical and digital spaces? CrossMMLA is the successor to the Learning Analytics Across Spaces (CrossLAK) and MultiModal Learning Analytics (MMLA) series of workshops that were merged in 2017 after successful cross-pollination between the two communities. Although it may be said that CrossLAK and MMLA perspectives follow different philosophical and practical approaches, they both share a common aim. This aim is: deploying learning analytics innovations that can be used across diverse authentic learning environments whilst learners feature various modalities of interaction or behaviour.

(författare) From business to process models : A chaining methodology 2006 Ingår i: Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems and Engineering (CAiSE’06). Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract In this paper we discuss the problem of how to go from a business model to a process model in a systematic way. Business models are economic models used for business analysis, while process models capture low-level business activities and their coordination. We propose a method that starts with a business model where the main actors and their relationships are identified. This forms a basis for design of a final process model. Processes are described in terms of patterns stored in a pattern library.

7.	Bendtsen, Marcus (författare) Bayesian Optimisation of Gated Bayesian Networks for Algorithmic Trading 2015 Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract Gated Bayesian networks (GBNs) are an extension of Bayesian networks that aim to model systems that have distinct phases. In this paper, we aim to use GBNs to output buy and sell decisions for use in algorithmic trading systems. These systems may have several parameters that require tuning, and assessing the performance of these systems as a function of their parameters cannot be expressed in closed form, and thus requires simulation. Bayesian optimisation has grown in popularity as a means of global optimisation of parameters where the objective function may be costly or a black box. We show how algorithmic trading using GBNs, supported by Bayesian optimisation, can lower risk towards invested capital, while at the same time generating similar or better rewards, compared to the benchmark investment strategy buy-and-hold.
