- The nomenclature of Gallowayella, Golubkovaea, Oxneria, and some species of Gyalolechia, Leproplaca, and Rusavskia in the Teloschistaceae is corrected and commented. Rusavskia ectaniza is a new combination. Also the earlier invalidly published combinations Gyalolechia bassiae, Leproplaca chrysodeta, and Rusavskia aspera are validated.

- Eiglera flavida and Epilichen scabrosus should be deleted from the Danish checklist. The collections of Caloplaca citrina are revised and most of them referred to C. flavocitrina. Amandinea pelidna, Arthonia peltigerae, A. phaeophysciae, Caloplaca britannica, C. polycarpa, Clauzadea metzleri, Cyphelium karelicum, Dendrophoma lecanorae, Didymellopsis collematum, Endococcus protoblasteniae, Ephebe perspinulosa, Fuscidea arboricola, F. austerodes, F. kochiana, Gyalecta erythrozona, Lichenostigma cosmopolites, Micarea micrococca, Milospium graphideorum, Norrlinia medoborensis, Ochrolechia tartarea, Parmelia serrana, Peltigera neopolydactyla, Polyblastia quartzina, Porpidia ochrolemma, Pyrenidium actinellum, Rhizocarpon destructans, R. postumum, Scoliciosporum pruinosum, Unguiculariopsis thallophila, Verrucaria macrostoma, V. pinguicola and Zwackhiomyces lacustris are reported as new to Denmark, and notes are given on some further species.

Lichenicolous fungi from the Skibotn area, Troms, Norway

- Altogether 93 species of lichenicolous fungi are reported, the majority collected during the Nordic Lichen Society excursion in 2003 to the Skibotn area, Troms, Norway. Cornutispora ciliata, Intralichen cf. lichenum, Opegrapha stereocaulicola and Sphaerulina cf. dubiella are new to Scandinavia, 11 species are new to Norway, and further 42 are new to Troms. Stigmidium aggregata is also reported as new to Greenland. Host lichens, localities, collectors and collection numbers are given.

- The genus Caloplaca in the Nordic countries is currently under revision and this work has resulted in a number of new records for the Nordic countries or provinces within the countries. These records are presented here. Caloplaca arnoldii subsp. arnoldii is reported new to Sweden, C. conciliascens new to Norway and Sweden, C. castellana new to Finland, C. hungarica new to Norway and Sweden, C. isidiigera new to Sweden, C. limonia new to Denmark and Sweden, C. chrysophthalma new to Finland, C. monacensis new to Sweden, C. raesaeninii is new to Sweden and Hungary, C. soralifera new to Norway, C. teicholyta new to Sweden and C. tristiuscula new to Norway

Phylogeny, ecology and morphology of the two corticolous lichen species Rinodina colobina and R. pityrea in the Nordic countries

- Rinodina pityrea and R. colobina are reported as two distinct species with differing ecology and morphological characters. Molecular analysis of their ITS and mrSSU genes show that R. pityrea and R. colobina are two clearly separated species. Furthermore, the two species are morphologically and geographically distinct in the Nordic countries and can usually be recognized with a hand lens rather than by observing spore type which can be very difficult. The differing characteristics of R. pityrea and R. colobina are here described in detail with photographs and a table is given of differing features. Additionally, some defining characteristics to separate sterile specimens from Caloplaca chlorina were discovered and are presented along with the rest of the findings. Finally, an updated distribution map of R. pityrea and R. colobina for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark is presented. Rinodina pityrea is reported as new to Norway and R. colobina is reinstalled as a Danish lichen.

- Placidiopsis custnani (A. Massal.) Körb., last recorded from the Nordic countries almost 160 years ago, is reported from the island of Gotland as new to Sweden. Its taxonomy and ecology are described from the new locality, and a key is provided for the former members of the genus Catapyrenium growing on soil, mosses or bark in the Nordic countries.

- Flavoplaca havaasii, previously known only from its type locality in southern Norway, is reported here from a second locality in Nordland, northern Norway. Xanthocarpia marmorata, reported from three localities in Sweden, is new to Scandinavia and Athallia saxifragarum, previously unknown from Fennoscandia, is reported from both Norway and Finland.
