- Hur och i vilken omfattning högre lärosäten (universitet och högskolor) i Sverige samverkar med samhället har debatterats i media såväl som i forskningen. Denna artikel belyser den formaliseringsprocess som skett i kölvattnet av nya regleringar och politiska krav på samverkan. I studien analyseras officiella dokument och intervjuer med universitetsanställda vid två svenska lärosäten. Analysen fokuserar på begreppet samverkan som ett gränsobjekt och belyser den mångtydighet som kännetecknar den rådande formaliseringen. Strävan efter definitioner och operationaliseringar av samverkan ger upphov till många specifika och lokala tolkningar; av begreppet som sådant, hur samverkanskompetens ska definieras och hur samverkans genomslag ska mätas. I artikeln diskuteras nackdelarna med formaliseringsprocesser som drivs för långt och som kan bidra till att samverkan förvandlas till ett självändamål.

Barn som anhöriga : Alla barn ska få möjlighet till hälsa och personlig utveckling

- Alla barn och unga har rätt att växa upp under trygga och goda förhållanden och få det skydd och stöd som kan behövas för en gynnsam fysisk och social utveckling. Vad gäller barn som anhöriga utsätts de för mångfaldigt större risker att drabbas av såväl sjukdom som sociala problem jämfört med andra barn. Samhället kan gemensamt verka förebyggande genom att minska risk- och stärka skyddsfaktorer för barnen och deras familjer och utveckla och systematiskt följa upp riktade stödinsatser för barnen. Genom utveckling av organisatoriska strukturer och rutiner, enskilda initiativ och engagemang kan bättre förutsättningar för alla barn stärkas. Nka arbetar för att bidra till sådant stöd att närståendes svårigheter inte inkräktar på barnets hälsa, utveckling och skolgång. I denna folder finner Ni flera intressanta exempel på rutiner och insatser till barn som anhöriga. Låt er inspireras och vara delaktiga i detta viktiga uppdrag, att alla barn ska få möjlighet till hälsa, personlig utveckling, utbildning och social delaktighet.

- Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important topic across the world. Since the publication of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) by the United Nations, awareness of this effort is growing. In 2006, a section in the Swedish Higher Education Act was formed, stating that: “In the course of their operations, HEIs shall promote sustainable development to assure for present and future generations a sound and healthy environment, economic and social welfare and justice” (Swedish Council for Higher Education, 2015). Hence, if graduates carry sustainability awareness, skills, and values into their work life, not only will the private sector benefit, but societal benefits will also be high. Universities have the potential to act as facilitators, bridging research efforts to develop a more sustainably oriented society. Furthermore, since the Bologna process in 2007 there has been an increased focus on students’ learning outcomes and generic competencies (Berg, 2016). However, initiatives for incorporating the SDGs in curricula have mostly been technical and economic solutions (Pöllänen et al., 2023). Since these solutions have proven to be insufficient, initiatives studies have emerged on the nexus of inner and outer sustainability and, the importance of internal dimensions has come into focus as a strategy for a deliberate cultural transformation achieving the SDGs. (e.g., Pöllänen et al., 2023; Cooper & Gibson, 2022). Inner Development Goals (IDG) is a global project that has compiled and published material on competencies being important for the development of students’ generic competencies for sustainable development. Hence, the IDGs are a toolkit that promotes these competencies (Inner Development Goals, 2023).

- Purpose: Collaboration has become an increasingly more common strategy when developing care sectors while, coincidentally, experience and research show that collaboration development may be problematic in itself. This study aims to achieve better understanding of collaboration processes.Method: A local project that aimed at improving the quality of healthcare and social care by developing the co-operation between organizations took place in Sweden, and by using participatory action research, PAR, this process was followed between 2004 and 2008. Material was gathered through participant observation from the perspective of patients, relatives, staff, managers and politicians. A descriptive narrative was compiled and a hermeneutic interpretation was performed.Results: Initially, the development of collaboration was impeded due to lack of communication between the participants from various levels within the organizations. With the support of PAR, communication arenas were arranged to handle social interaction as well as different perspectives and conflicts, which led to improved collaboration within the organizations as well as between the care organizations.Conclusion: Development of collaboration between organizations reflects how collaboration within one organization works. Collaboration is a social and interpersonal phenomenon, and readily available communication arenas are crucial for its development.
