  • Edgren, Henrik, 1972- (författare)
  • Publicitet för medborgsmannavett : Det nationellt svenska i Stockholmstidningar 1810-1831
  • 2005
  • Doktorsavhandling (övrigt vetenskapligt/konstnärligt)abstract
    • The aim of this thesis is to use social debate in political newspapers to study how Swedish national identity was constructed in the period between 1810 and 1831. Never before has the Swedish political press and national identity in the early nineteenth century been analysed using such an approach. 1809 saw the beginning of a turbulent period for Sweden. A disastrous war against Russia led to the loss of Finland, King Gustav IV Adolf was deposed in a bloodless coup, and a new form of government and press freedom were introduced. It became pressing to construct a national identity suited to Sweden’s new political, social, and economic circumstances. The newspapers’ consideration of social issues and national identity has been studied in the light of specific themes: publicity; the constitution and structure of the state; commerce and industry; the moral standing of nation and population alike; education and upbringing; historical narratives; and Sweden’s attitudes towards the lost province of Finland and the new union with Norway. Two theoretical perspectives inform the thesis. In the first the newspapers’ message is related to slow change, as Swedish society was transformed from a corporate-based system to a newer, less certain system marked by individualism and liberation from a corporate based society. Linked to this societal perspective, the second perspective identifies the newspapers’ content with the two principal strands in national identity in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries: the ethno-cultural; and the civic. An important conclusion is that the more radical the message, the more emphasis was placed on a civic national identity, by means of focusing on the constitutional, civic, and public good. Civic national identity stemmed principally from the emerging middle class, who at the time constituted only a few per cent of the Swedish population. By contrast, the conservative political message centred principally on the advocacy of a ethno-cultural national identity that stressed ethnic origin, common language and history, religion, and customs as the determinants in national identity.

  • Measurement of η meson decays into lepton-antilepton pairs
  • 2007
  • Rapport (övrigt vetenskapligt/konstnärligt)abstract
    • A search for rare lepton decays of the η meson was performed using the WASA detector at CELSIUS. Two candidates for double Dalitz decay η→e+e−e+e− events are reported with a background of 1.3±0.2 events. This allows to set an upper limit to the branching ratio of 9.7×10−5 η(90% CL). The branching ratio for the decay η→e+e−γ is determined to (7.8±0.5stat ±0.8syst)×10−3 in agreement with world average value. An upper limit (90% CL) for the branching ratio for the η→e+e− decay is 2.7 × 10−5 and a limit for the sum of the η→μ+μ−μ+μ− and η→π+π−μ+μ− decays is 3.6 × 10−4.

  • Grunddatadomän transportsystem: Kompletterande underlag till den utforskande förstudien
  • 2022
  • Rapport (övrigt vetenskapligt/konstnärligt)abstract
    • I mars 2022 levererade Trafikverket och samverkande myndigheter (Transportstyrelsen, Sjöfartsverket, Luftfartsverket, Trafikanalys och VTI, Statens väg- och transportforskningsinstitut) en rapport som sammanfattade den utforskande utvecklingen att utreda en grunddatadomän för transportsystemet.  Föreliggande rapport är en komplettering till den ursprungliga rapporten och utgör Trafikverkets inklusive samverkande myndigheters sammantagna underlag (utforskande utveckling) för etablering av en grunddatadomän för transportsystemet. Arbetet har bedrivits under ledning av Myndigheten för digital förvaltning (DIGG) med Trafikverket som ansvarig för den utforskande utvecklingen. Till rapporten hör en bilaga, se länk till höger.Ursprunglig rapport: Grunddatadomän transportsystem: Samverkansuppdrag mellan transportmyndigheterna för att bedriva en utforskande utveckling att utreda en grunddatadomän för information kopplat till transportsystemet

  • THE pp -> d pi(+)pi(0) REACTION - A CASE OF Delta Delta EXCITATION WITHOUT ABC-EFFECT
  • 2009
  • Ingår i: International Journal of Modern Physics A. - 0217-751X .- 1793-656X. ; 24:2-3, s. 561-563
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The ABC effect, a low-mass enhancement in the invariant pp mass, is observed in double-pionic fusion reactions leading to a bound nuclear system in the final state. From previous measurements there have been indications that this phenomenon is resctricted to the sigma channel of the pp system. With exclusive measurements of the pp -> d pi(+)pi(0) reaction at T-p = 1.1 GeV we demonstrate that, indeed, the ABC effect does not occur in the vector-isovector Delta Delta channel (rho channel) despite the fact that the Delta Delta excitation is oberved to be the dominant reaction process. We also show that this reaction is well described by a t-channel Delta Delta excitation with the subsequent decay into the vector-isovector Delta Delta channel given by the rho channel operator.

  • Pulmonary adenocarcinoma in situ and minimally invasive adenocarcinomas in European patients have less KRAS and more EGFR mutations compared to advanced adenocarcinomas.
  • 2024
  • Ingår i: International Journal of Molecular Sciences. - 1661-6596 .- 1422-0067. ; 25:5
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Pulmonary adenocarcinoma (ADC) is a very diverse disease, both genetically and histologically, which displays extensive intratumor heterogeneity with numerous acquired mutations. ADC is the most common type of lung cancer and is believed to arise from adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS) which then progresses to minimally invasive adenocarcinoma (MIA). In patients of European ethnicity, we analyzed genetic mutations in AIS (n = 10) and MIA (n = 18) and compared the number of genetic mutations with advanced ADC (n = 2419). Using next-generation sequencing, the number of different mutations detected in both AIS (87.5%) and MIA (94.5%) were higher (p < 0.001) than in advanced ADC (53.7%). In contrast to the high number of mutations in Kirsten rat sarcoma virus gene (KRAS) in advanced ADC (34.6%), there was only one case of AIS with KRAS G12C mutation (3.5%; p < 0.001) and no cases of MIA with KRAS mutation (p < 0.001). In contrast to the modest prevalence of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations in advanced ADC (15.0%), the fraction of EGFR mutant cases was higher in both in AIS (22.2%) and MIA (59.5%; p < 0.001). The EGFR exon 19 deletion mutation was more common in both MIA (50%; n = 6/12) and ADC (41%; n = 149/363), whereas p.L858R was more prevalent in AIS (75%; n = 3/4). In contrast to pulmonary advanced ADC, KRAS driver mutations are less common, whereas mutations in EGFR are more common, in detectable AIS and MIA.
