  • Long-range angular correlations on the near and away side in p-Pb collisions at root S-NN=5.02 TeV
  • 2013
  • Ingår i: Physics Letters. Section B: Nuclear, Elementary Particle and High-Energy Physics. - : Elsevier BV. - 0370-2693. ; 719:1-3, s. 29-41
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Angular correlations between charged trigger and associated particles are measured by the ALICE detector in p-Pb collisions at a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV for transverse momentum ranges within 0.5 < P-T,P-assoc < P-T,P-trig < 4 GeV/c. The correlations are measured over two units of pseudorapidity and full azimuthal angle in different intervals of event multiplicity, and expressed as associated yield per trigger particle. Two long-range ridge-like structures, one on the near side and one on the away side, are observed when the per-trigger yield obtained in low-multiplicity events is subtracted from the one in high-multiplicity events. The excess on the near-side is qualitatively similar to that recently reported by the CMS Collaboration, while the excess on the away-side is reported for the first time. The two-ridge structure projected onto azimuthal angle is quantified with the second and third Fourier coefficients as well as by near-side and away-side yields and widths. The yields on the near side and on the away side are equal within the uncertainties for all studied event multiplicity and p(T) bins, and the widths show no significant evolution with event multiplicity or p(T). These findings suggest that the near-side ridge is accompanied by an essentially identical away-side ridge. (c) 2013 CERN. Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

  • Measurement of prompt J/psi and beauty hadron production cross sections at mid-rapidity in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV
  • 2012
  • Ingår i: Journal of High Energy Physics. - 1029-8479. ; :11
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The ALICE experiment at the LHC has studied J/psi production at mid-rapidity in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV through its electron pair decay on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity L-int = 5.6 nb(-1). The fraction of J/psi from the decay of long-lived beauty hadrons was determined for J/psi candidates with transverse momentum p(t) > 1,3 GeV/c and rapidity vertical bar y vertical bar < 0.9. The cross section for prompt J/psi mesons, i.e. directly produced J/psi and prompt decays of heavier charmonium states such as the psi(2S) and chi(c) resonances, is sigma(prompt J/psi) (p(t) > 1.3 GeV/c, vertical bar y vertical bar < 0.9) = 8.3 +/- 0.8(stat.) +/- 1.1 (syst.)(-1.4)(+1.5) (syst. pol.) mu b. The cross section for the production of b-hadrons decaying to J/psi with p(t) > 1.3 GeV/c and vertical bar y vertical bar < 0.9 is a sigma(J/psi <- hB) (p(t) > 1.3 GeV/c, vertical bar y vertical bar < 0.9) = 1.46 +/- 0.38 (stat.)(-0.32)(+0.26) (syst.) mu b. The results are compared to QCD model predictions. The shape of the p(t) and y distributions of b-quarks predicted by perturbative QCD model calculations are used to extrapolate the measured cross section to derive the b (b) over bar pair total cross section and d sigma/dy at mid-rapidity.

  • Underlying Event measurements in pp collisions at root s=0.9 and 7 TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC
  • 2012
  • Ingår i: Journal of High Energy Physics. - 1029-8479. ; :7
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • We present measurements of Underlying Event observables in pp collisions at root s = 0 : 9 and 7 TeV. The analysis is performed as a function of the highest charged-particle transverse momentum p(T),L-T in the event. Different regions are defined with respect to the azimuthal direction of the leading (highest transverse momentum) track: Toward, Transverse and Away. The Toward and Away regions collect the fragmentation products of the hardest partonic interaction. The Transverse region is expected to be most sensitive to the Underlying Event activity. The study is performed with charged particles above three different p(T) thresholds: 0.15, 0.5 and 1.0 GeV/c. In the Transverse region we observe an increase in the multiplicity of a factor 2-3 between the lower and higher collision energies, depending on the track p(T) threshold considered. Data are compared to PYTHIA 6.4, PYTHIA 8.1 and PHOJET. On average, all models considered underestimate the multiplicity and summed p(T) in the Transverse region by about 10-30%.

  • Lifetime of racetrack skyrmions
  • 2018
  • Ingår i: Scientific Reports. - : Springer. - 2045-2322. ; 8
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The skyrmion racetrack is a promising concept for future information technology. There, binary bits are carried by nanoscale spin swirls-skyrmions-driven along magnetic strips. Stability of the skyrmions is a critical issue for realising this technology. Here we demonstrate that the racetrack skyrmion lifetime can be calculated from first principles as a function of temperature, magnetic field and track width. Our method combines harmonic transition state theory extended to include Goldstone modes, with an atomistic spin Hamiltonian parametrized from density functional theory calculations. We demonstrate that two annihilation mechanisms contribute to the skyrmion stability: At low external magnetic field, escape through the track boundary prevails, but a crossover field exists, above which the collapse in the interior becomes dominant. Considering a Pd/Fe bilayer on an Ir(111) substrate as a well-established model system, the calculated skyrmion lifetime is found to be consistent with reported experimental measurements. Our simulations also show that the Arrhenius pre-exponential factor of escape depends only weakly on the external magnetic field, whereas the pre-exponential factor for collapse is strongly field dependent. Our results open the door for predictive simulations, free from empirical parameters, to aid the design of skyrmion-based information technology.

  • Ingår i: BMJ Open. - : BMJ. - 2044-6055. ; 12:4
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Introduction The World Health Organization's (WHO) scalable psychological interventions, such as Problem Management Plus (PM+) and Step-by-Step (SbS) are designed to be cost-effective non-specialist delivered interventions to reduce symptoms of common mental disorders, such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The STRENGTHS consortium aims to evaluate the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and implementation of the individual format of PM+ and its group version (gPM+), as well as of the digital SbS intervention among Syrian refugees in seven countries in Europe and the Middle East. This is a study protocol for a prospective individual participant data (IPD) meta-analysis to evaluate (1) overall effectiveness and cost-effectiveness and (2) treatment moderators of PM+, gPM+ and SbS with Syrian refugees. Methods and analysis Five pilot randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and seven fully powered RCTs conducted within STRENGTHS will be combined into one IPD meta-analytic dataset. The RCTs include Syrian refugees of 18 years and above with elevated psychological distress (Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10>15)) and impaired daily functioning (WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (WHODAS 2.0>16)). Participants are randomised into the intervention or care as usual control group, and complete follow-up assessments at 1-week, 3-month and 12-month follow-up. Primary outcomes are symptoms of depression and anxiety (25-item Hopkins Symptom Checklist). Secondary outcomes include daily functioning (WHODAS 2.0), PTSD symptoms (PTSD Checklist for DSM-5) and self-identified problems (PSYCHLOPS). We will conduct a one-stage IPD meta-analysis using linear mixed models. Quality of evidence will be assessed using the GRADE approach, and the economic evaluation approach will be assessed using the CHEC-list. Ethics and dissemination Local ethical approval has been obtained for each RCT. This IPD meta-analysis does not require ethical approval. The results of this study will be published in international peer-reviewed journals.

  • Interaction of Individual Skyrmions in a Nanostructured Cubic Chiral Magnet
  • 2018
  • Ingår i: Physical Review Letters. - : American Physical Society. - 0031-9007 .- 1079-7114. ; 120:19
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • We report direct evidence of the field-dependent character of the interaction between individual magnetic skyrmions as well as between skyrmions and edges in B20-type FeGe nanostripes observed by means of high-resolution Lorentz transmission electron microscopy. It is shown that above certain critical values of an external magnetic field the character of such long-range skyrmion interactions changes from attraction to repulsion. Experimentally measured equilibrium inter-skyrmion and skyrmion-edge distances as a function of the applied magnetic field shows quantitative agreement with the results of micromagnetic simulations. The important role of demagnetizing fields and the internal symmetry of three-dimensional magnetic skyrmions are discussed in detail.

  • 2019
  • Ingår i: The 10th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics, META 2019. - : META Conference. ; , s. 677-678
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Chiral magnets are an emerging class of topological matter harbouring localized and topologically protected vortexlike magnetic textures called skyrmions, which are currently under intense scrutiny as a new entity for information storage and processing. Chirality in magnetism is introduced through the chiral symmetry breaking Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, which arizes through the spin-orbit interaction in magnets with structural bulk and interface inversion asymmetry. We have shown that chiral magnets cannot only host skyrmions but also antiskyrmions and chiral bobbers as localized magnetization particles. We present a multiscale approach relating the electronic structure to an atomistic spin-lattice model and further to micromagnetic models by means of densityfunctional calculations, derive practical criteria for their occurrence and coexistence with skyrmions and minimizing the energy on a mesoscopic scale applying varying spinrelaxation methods. We conjecture on possible materials for antiskyrmions and give experimental evidence for bobbers. The technology potential of having two distinctly different stable particles will be discussed.

  • Control of morphology and formation of highly geometrically confined magnetic skyrmions
  • 2017
  • Ingår i: Nature Communications. - : Nature Publishing Group. - 2041-1723. ; 8
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The ability to controllably manipulate magnetic skyrmions, small magnetic whirls with particle-like properties, in nanostructured elements is a prerequisite for incorporating them into spintronic devices. Here, we use state-of-the-art electron holographic imaging to directly visualize the morphology and nucleation of magnetic skyrmions in a wedge-shaped FeGe nanostripe that has a width in the range of 45-150 nm. We find that geometrically-confined skyrmions are able to adopt a wide range of sizes and ellipticities in a nanostripe that are absent in both thin films and bulk materials and can be created from a helical magnetic state with a distorted edge twist in a simple and efficient manner. We perform a theoretical analysis based on a three-dimensional general model of isotropic chiral magnets to confirm our experimental results. The flexibility and ease of formation of geometrically confined magnetic skyrmions may help to optimize the design of skyrmion-based memory devices.

    • The uniform motion of chiral magnetic skyrmions induced by a spin-transfer torque displays an intricate dependence on the skyrmions' topological charge and shape. We reveal surprising patterns in this dependence through simulations of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation with Zhang-Li torque and explain them through a geometric analysis of Thiele's equation. Our results provide a universal geometrical understanding of the dependence of the skyrmion's velocity and Hall angle on the skyrmion's topological charge, shape, and orientation. The generality of our approach suggests the validity of our results for exchange-frustrated magnets, bubble materials, and other materials.

  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Frontiers in Physics. - : FRONTIERS MEDIA SA. - 2296-424X. ; 11
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Cubic chiral magnets exhibit a remarkable diversity of two-dimensional topological magnetic textures, including skyrmions. However, the experimental confirmation of topological states localized in all three spatial dimensions remains challenging. In this paper, we investigate a three-dimensional topological state called a heliknoton, which is a hopfion embedded into a helix or conic background. We explore the range of parameters at which the heliknoton can be stabilized under realistic conditions using micromagnetic modeling, harmonic transition state theory, and stochastic spin dynamics simulations. We present theoretical Lorentz TEM images of the heliknoton, which can be used for experimental comparison. Additionally, we discuss the stability of the heliknoton at finite temperatures and the mechanism of its collapse. Our study offers a pathway for future experimental investigations of three-dimensional topological solitons in magnetic crystals.

  • 2020
  • Ingår i: Physical Review B. - : American Physical Society (APS). - 2469-9950 .- 2469-9969. ; 102:14
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • We present a novel approach to understanding the extraordinary diversity of magnetic skyrmion solutions. Our approach combines an original classification scheme with efficient analytical and numerical methods. We introduce the concept of chiral kinks to account for regions of disfavored chirality in spin textures, and classify two-dimensional magnetic skyrmions in terms of closed domain walls carrying such chiral kinks In particular, we show that the topological charge of magnetic skyrmions can be expressed in terms of the constituent closed domain walls and chiral kinks Guided by our classification scheme, we propose a method for creating hitherto unknown magnetic skyrmions which involves initial spin configurations formulated in terms of holomorphic functions and subsequent numerical energy minimization We numerically study the stability of the resulting magnetic skyrmions for a range of external fields and anisotropy parameters, and provide quantitative estimates of the stability range for the whole variety of skyrmions with kinks We show that the parameters limiting this range can be well described in terms of the relative energies of particular skyrmion solutions and isolated stripes with and without chiral kinks.

  • Tailed skyrmions : An obscure branch of magnetic solitons
  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Frontiers in Physics. - : Frontiers Media S.A.. - 2296-424X. ; 11
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • We report tailed skyrmions-a new class of stable soliton solutions of the 2D chiral magnet model. Tailed skyrmions have elongated shapes and emerge in a narrow range of fields near the transition between the spin spirals and the saturated state. We analyze the stability range of these solutions in terms of external magnetic field and magnetocrystalline anisotropy. We calculate minimum energy paths and homotopies (continuous transitions) between tailed skyrmions of the same topological charge. The discovery of tailed skyrmions extends the diversity of already known solutions. This is illustrated by solitons with complex morphology, such as tailed skyrmion bags with and without chiral kinks.

  • 2022
  • Ingår i: Physical Review B. - : American Physical Society. - 2469-9950 .- 2469-9969. ; 105:18
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Controlled creation of localized magnetic textures beyond conventional π-skyrmions is an important problem in the field of magnetism. Here, by means of spin dynamics simulations, Monte Carlo simulations, and harmonic transition state theory we demonstrate that an elementary chiral magnetic soliton with zero topological charge - the chiral droplet - can be created by thermal fluctuations in the presence of the tilted magnetic field. The proposed protocol relies on an unusual kinetics combining the effects of the entropic stabilization and low-energy barrier for the nucleation of a topologically trivial state. Following this protocol by varying temperature and the tilt of the external magnetic field, one can selectively generate chiral droplets or π-skyrmions in a single system. The coexistence of two distinct magnetic solitons establishes a basis for a rich magnetization dynamics and opens up the possibility for the construction of more complex magnetic textures such as skyrmion bags and skyrmions with chiral kinks.

  • 2020
  • Ingår i: Physical Review B. - : AMER PHYSICAL SOC. - 2469-9950 .- 2469-9969. ; 101:18

    • Magnetic singularities, also known as magnetic monopoles or Bloch points, represent intriguing phenomena in nanomagnetism. We show that a pair of coupled Bloch points-a dipole string-may appear as a stable state in cubic chiral magnets. Analysis of the thermodynamic stability of such objects in the interior of crystals and in geometrically confined systems is presented. Employing advanced Monte Carlo simulations, we reveal an effect of spontaneous nucleation of dipole strings with characteristic size on the order of the helix pitch at temperature close to the paramagnetic phase transition. Such behavior of chiral magnets at elevated temperature drastically distinguishes them from ordinary ferromagnets and may provide a significant contribution to the topological Hall effect even in the absence of skyrmions.

  • Duplication, Collapse, and Escape of Magnetic Skyrmions Revealed Using a Systematic Saddle Point Search Method
  • 2018
  • Ingår i: Physical Review Letters. - : American Physical Society. - 0031-9007 .- 1079-7114. ; 121:19
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Various transitions that a magnetic Skyrmion can undergo are found in calculations using a method for climbing up the energy surface and converging onto first order saddle points. In addition to collapse and escape through a boundary, the method identifies a transition where the Skyrmion divides and forms two Skyrmions. The activation energy for this duplication process can be similar to that of collapse and escape. A tilting of the external magnetic field for a certain time interval is found to induce the duplication process in a dynamical simulation. Such a process could turn out to be an important avenue for the creation of Skyrmions in future magnetic devices.

  • 2022
  • Ingår i: APL Materials. - : AIP Publishing. - 2166-532X. ; 10:11
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Hopfions are an intriguing class of string-like solitons, named according to a classical topological concept classifying three-dimensional direction fields. The search for hopfions in real physical systems has been ongoing for nearly half a century, starting with the seminal work of Faddeev. However, so far, realizations in bulk solids are missing. Here, we show that hopfions appear as emergent particles of the classical Heisenberg model with competing exchange interactions. This requires going beyond the model approach used in prior work and deriving a general micromagnetic energy functional directly from a spin-lattice Hamiltonian. We present a definite parameter space in which the existence of hopfions is possible. This opens a concrete vista to combine computational approaches such as density functional theory with material informatics to find magnetic crystals that can host hopfions. As proof of principle, we show how zero-field hopfions can be visualized by the means of off-axis electron holography in a transmission electron microscope.

  • 2022
  • Ingår i: APL Materials. - : AIP Publishing. - 2166-532X. ; 10:7
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • This work studies the resonance excitations of the three-dimensional skyrmions lattice in the finite thickness plate of an isotropic chiral magnet using spin dynamics simulations. We found that the absorption spectra and resonance modes differ from those predicted by the two-dimensional model and the model of the unconfined bulk crystal. The features observed on the spectra can be explained by the formation of chiral standing spin waves, which, contrary to conventional standing spin waves, are characterized by the helical profile of dynamic magnetization of fixed chirality that is defined by the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. In this case, the dynamic susceptibility becomes a function of the plate thickness, which gives rise to an interesting effect that manifests itself in periodical fading of the intensity of corresponding modes and makes excitation of these modes impossible at specific thicknesses.

  • 2022
  • Ingår i: APL Materials. - : American Institute of Physics (AIP). - 2166-532X. ; 10:6
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The diversity of three-dimensional magnetic states in a FeGe nanocylinder is studied using micromagnetic simulations and off-axis electron holography in the transmission electron microscope. In particular, we report the observation of a dipole string-a spin texture composed of two coupled Bloch points-which becomes stable under geometrical confinement. Quantitative agreement is obtained between experimental and theoretical phase shift images by taking into account the presence of a damaged layer on the surface of the nanocylinder. The theoretical model is based on the assumption that the damaged surface layer, which results from focused ion beam milling during sample preparation, has similar magnetic properties to those of an amorphous FeGe alloy. The results highlight the importance of considering the magnetic properties of the surface layers of such nanoscale samples, which influence their magnetic states.

  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Frontiers in Physics. - : Frontiers Media S.A.. - 2296-424X. ; 11
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • In magnetic multilayers with perpendicular anisotropy, the competition of short-range and long-range interactions gives rise to the stability of cylindrical magnetic domains, also known as magnetic bubbles. The presence of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction induced by asymmetric interfaces between magnetic and nonmagnetic layers may lead to the formation of cylindrical bubble domains with Neel-type domain walls across the whole thickness of the multilayer. Such domain walls produce no contrast in Lorentz TEM under the normal incidence of the electron beam to the film. The latter is often used as an argument for the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in the system. Here we show that in magnetic multilayers, the absence of the Lorentz TEM contrast might also have another origin. In particular, in the absence of interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and weak interlayer exchange coupling, the magnetic bubbles might have Bloch-type domain walls of alternate chirality in adjacent layers. Such domain walls also do not produce magnetic contrast in Lorentz TEM at normal incidence of the electron beam. We show that, in the absence of interlayer exchange coupling, the magnetic bubble domains with the domain walls of fixed and alternate chirality have nearly identical energies and can coexist in the same range of magnetic fields. Using the geodesic nudged elastic band method, we prove that these states are separated by finite energy barriers. Furthermore, we demonstrate that magnetic multilayers with only dipolar coupling, besides the magnetic bubbles with nontrivial topology in all layers, can accommodate solutions with trivial topology within the internal layers.

    • The evolution of bubble domains in a (Co/Pd)(80) multi-layered thin film with perpendicular anisotropy has been studied by Magnetic Force Microscopy in varying magnetic fields. As expected, the bubble domains show a continuous increase of their size with decreasing field. The diameters have been quantitatively evaluated by means of signal deconvolution. To that end the MFM tip was previously calibrated on the same multilayer in zero field state. The resulting bubble diameters and the values for bubble strip-out and collapse fields agree well with the theoretically predicted values for this system, proving the validity of the applied micromagnetic model.

    • Chiral magnetic skyrmions(1,2) are nanoscale vortex-like spin textures that form in the presence of an applied magnetic field in ferromagnets that support the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) because of strong spin-orbit coupling and broken inversion symmetry of the crystal(3,4). In sharp contrast to other systems(5,6) that allow for the formation of a variety of two-dimensional (2D) skyrmions, in chiral magnets the presence of the DMI commonly prevents the stability and coexistence of topological excitations of different types(7). Recently, a new type of localized particle-like object-the chiral bobber (ChB)-was predicted theoretically in such materials(8). However, its existence has not yet been verified experimentally. Here, we report the direct observation of ChBs in thin films of B20-type FeGe by means of quantitative off-axis electron holography (EH). We identify the part of the temperature-magnetic field phase diagram in which ChBs exist and distinguish two mechanisms for their nucleation. Furthermore, we show that ChBs are able to coexist with skyrmions over a wide range of parameters, which suggests their possible practical applications in novel magnetic solid-state memory devices, in which a stream of binary data bits can be encoded by a sequence of skyrmions and bobbers.

    • Magnetic skyrmions and hopfions are topological solitons1-well-localized field configurations that have gained considerable attention over the past decade owing to their unique particle-like properties, which make them promising objects for spintronic applications. Skyrmions2,3 are two-dimensional solitons resembling vortex-like string structures that can penetrate an entire sample. Hopfions4-9 are three-dimensional solitons confined within a magnetic sample volume and can be considered as closed twisted skyrmion strings that take the shape of a ring in the simplest case. Despite extensive research on magnetic skyrmions, the direct observation of magnetic hopfions is challenging10 and has only been reported in a synthetic material11. Here we present direct observations of hopfions in crystals. In our experiment, we use transmission electron microscopy to observe hopfions forming coupled states with skyrmion strings in B20-type FeGe plates. We provide a protocol for nucleating such hopfion rings, which we verify using Lorentz imaging and electron holography. Our results are highly reproducible and in full agreement with micromagnetic simulations. We provide a unified skyrmion-hopfion homotopy classification and offer insight into the diversity of topological solitons in three-dimensional chiral magnets.

    • Skyrmions are vortex-like spin textures that form strings in magnetic crystals. Due to the analogy to elastic strings, skyrmion strings are naturally expected to braid and form complex three-dimensional patterns, but this phenomenon has not been explored yet. We found that skyrmion strings can form braids in cubic crystals of chiral magnets. This finding is confirmed by direct observations of skyrmion braids in B20-type FeGe using transmission electron microscopy. The theoretical analysis predicts that the discovered phenomenon is general for a wide family of chiral magnets. These findings have important implications for skyrmionics and propose a solid-state framework for applications of the mathematical theory of braids.

    • A fundamental property of particles and antiparticles (such as electrons and positrons, respectively) is their ability to annihilate one another. A similar behaviour is predicted for magnetic solitons(1)-localized spin textures that can be distinguished by their topological index Q. Theoretically, magnetic topological solitons with opposite values of Q, such as skyrmions(2) and their antiparticles (namely, antiskyrmions), are expected to be able to continuously merge and annihilate(3). However, experimental verification of such particle-antiparticle pair production and annihilation processes has been lacking. Here we report the creation and annihilation of skyrmion-antiskyrmion pairs in an exceptionally thin film of the cubic chiral magnet of B2O-type FeGe observed using transmission electron microscopy. Our observations are highly reproducible and are fully consistent with micromagnetic simulations. Our findings provide a new platform for the fundamental studies of particles and antiparticles based on magnetic solids and open new perspectives for practical applications of thin films of isotropic chiral magnets.
