  • Tunable Magnetism in Atomically Thin Itinerant Antiferromagnet with Room-Temperature Ferromagnetic Order
  • 2024
  • Ingår i: Nano Letters. - 1530-6984. ; 24:20, s. 5984-5992
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Addressing the need for modulated spin configurations is crucial, as they serve as the foundational building blocks for next-generation spintronics, particularly in atomically thin structures and at room temperature. In this work, we realize intrinsic ferromagnetism in monolayer flakes and tunable ferro-/antiferromagnetism in (Fe0.56Co0.44)5GeTe2 antiferromagnets. Remarkably, the ferromagnetic ordering (≥1 L) and antiferromagnetic ordering (≥4 L) remain discernible up to room temperature. The TC (∼310 K) of the monolayer flakes sets a record high for known exfoliated monolayer van der Waals magnets. Within the framework of A-type antiferromagnetism, a notable odd-even layer-number effect at elevated temperatures (T = 150 K) is observed. Of particular interest is the strong ferromagnetic order in even-layer flakes at low temperatures. The intricate interplay among magnetic field strength, layer number, and temperature gives rise to a diverse array of phenomena, holding promise not only for new physics but also for practical applications.

  • STABLE TRIAXIALITY IN GERMANIUM AND SELENIUM ISOTOPES
  • 2013
  • Ingår i: NUCLEAR STRUCTURE IN CHINA 2012. - : WORLD SCIENTIFIC PUBL CO PTE LTD. ; , s. 201-206
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Total-Routhian-surface calculations by means of the pairing-deformation-frequency self-consistent cranked shell model have been carried out for germanium and selenium isotopes, in order to search for possible stable triaxial deformations of nuclear states. The triaxiality of vertical bar gamma vertical bar approximate to 30 degrees for the ground and collective rotational states, that is the limit of the maximum triaxiality, is found in Ge-64,Ge-74. The maximum triaxiality has its origin in a triaxial shell gap at Z = 32.

  • Two novel two-photon polymerization initiators with extensive application prospects
  • 2004
  • Ingår i: Chemical Physics Letters. - : Elsevier. - 0009-2614 .- 1873-4448. ; 388:4-6, s. 325-329
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Two novel two-photon polymerization initiators, 10-ethyl-3-E-(4-(N,N′-di-n-butylamino)styryl)phenothiazine 5 and 10-ethyl-3,7-E,E-bis(4-(N,N′-di-n-butyl amino)styryl)phenothiazine 6, have been efficiently synthesized with room temperature solid phase Wittig reaction. Two initiators were found to exhibit good single-photon fluorescence emission and their quantum yields, lifetimes and solvent effects have been studied in detail. Two-photon fluorescence spectra were investigated under 800 nm fs laser pulse and two-photon absorption (TPA) cross-sections of the initiators have been evaluated by theoretical calculation.Two-photon initiating polymerization microfabrication experiments have been carried out and artificial defects were made and polymerization mechanism was also discussed.

  • Systematic Nuclear Uncertainties in the Hypertriton System
  • 2021
  • Ingår i: Few-Body Systems. - : Springer Science and Business Media LLC. - 1432-5411 .- 0177-7963. ; 62:4
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The hypertriton bound state is relevant for inference of knowledge about the hyperon–nucleon (YN) interaction. In this work we compute the binding energy of the hypertriton using the ab initio hypernuclear no-core shell model (NCSM) with realistic interactions derived from chiral effective field theory. In particular, we employ a large family of nucleon–nucleon interactions with the aim to quantify the theoretical precision of predicted hypernuclear observables arising from nuclear-physics uncertainties. The three-body calculations are performed in a relative Jacobi-coordinate harmonic oscillator basis and we implement infrared correction formulas to extrapolate the NCSM results to infinite model space. We find that the spread of the predicted hypertriton binding energy, attributed to the nuclear-interaction model uncertainty, is about 100 keV. In conclusion, the sensitivity of the hypertriton binding energy to nuclear-physics uncertainties is of the same order of magnitude as experimental uncertainties such that this bound-state observable can be used in the calibration procedure to constrain the YN interactions.
