  • Operando dynamics of trapped carriers in perovskite solar cells observed via infrared optical activation spectroscopy
  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Nature Communications. - : NATURE PORTFOLIO. - 2041-1723. ; 14:1
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Conventional spectroscopies are not sufficiently selective to comprehensively understand the behaviour of trapped carriers in perovskite solar cells, particularly under their working conditions. Here we use infrared optical activation spectroscopy (i.e., pump-push-photocurrent), to observe the properties and real-time dynamics of trapped carriers within operando perovskite solar cells. We compare behaviour differences of trapped holes in pristine and surface-passivated FA(0.99)Cs(0.01)PbI(3) devices using a combination of quasi-steady-state and nanosecond time-resolved pump-push-photocurrent, as well as kinetic and drift-diffusion models. We find a two-step trap-filling process: the rapid filling (similar to 10 ns) of low-density traps in the bulk of perovskite, followed by the slower filling (similar to 100 ns) of high-density traps at the perovskite/hole transport material interface. Surface passivation by n-octylammonium iodide dramatically reduces the number of trap states (similar to 50 times), improving the device performance substantially. Moreover, the activation energy (similar to 280 meV) of the dominant hole traps remains similar with and without surface passivation.

  • NDFIP1 limits cellular TAZ accumulation via exosomal sorting to inhibit NSCLC proliferation
  • 2023
  • Ingår i: Protein & Cell. - : Springer Nature. - 1674-800X .- 1674-8018. ; 14:2, s. 123-136
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • NDFIP1 has been previously reported as a tumor suppressor in multiple solid tumors, but the function of NDFIP1 in NSCLC and the underlying mechanism are still unknown. Besides, the WW domain containing proteins can be recognized by NDFIP1, resulted in the loading of the target proteins into exosomes. However, whether WW domain-containing transcription regulator 1 (WWTR1, also known as TAZ) can be packaged into exosomes by NDFIP1 and if so, whether the release of this oncogenic protein via exosomes has an effect on tumor development has not been investigated to any extent. Here, we first found that NDFIP1 was low expressed in NSCLC samples and cell lines, which is associated with shorter OS. Then, we confirmed the interaction between TAZ and NDFIP1, and the existence of TAZ in exosomes, which requires NDFIP1. Critically, knockout of NDFIP1 led to TAZ accumulation with no change in its mRNA level and degradation rate. And the cellular TAZ level could be altered by exosome secretion. Furthermore, NDFIP1 inhibited proliferation in vitro and in vivo, and silencing TAZ eliminated the increase of proliferation caused by NDFIP1 knockout. Moreover, TAZ was negatively correlated with NDFIP1 in subcutaneous xenograft model and clinical samples, and the serum exosomal TAZ level was lower in NSCLC patients. In summary, our data uncover a new tumor suppressor, NDFIP1 in NSCLC, and a new exosome-related regulatory mechanism of TAZ.

  • Frequency-Domain Spectroscopy and Charge Trap Characteristics of Cellulose Based Pressboard Modified by Nano-TiO 2 Particles
  • 2021
  • Ingår i: IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation. - 1558-4135 .- 1070-9878. ; 28:5, s. 1523-1530
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Dielectric response and charge decay test are widely used for evaluating the electric properties of the insulation pressboards in the converter transformer. In this paper, Frequency Domain Spectroscopy (FDS) test, breakdown test, and charge decay characteristics experiments are carried out on the cellulose pressboards modified by TiO2 with different mass fractions and diameters. The FDS of the modified cellulose pressboards at ambient temperature is measured from 0.0001 to 1000 Hz by IDAX 300. The process is conducted at the laboratory to study the characteristics parameters of the dielectric response behaviors, such as complex relative permittivity. The results show that the values of the relative permittivity for the insulation pressboards modified by TiO2(5 wt%, 10 nm) are reduced. To verify the accurate results, the microstructures of the pressboards modified by 5 wt% with 10 nm diameter are observed by a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The breakdown strength tests are carried on the samples modified by 1 wt%, 3 wt%, 5 wt%, 7 wt% with 10 nm TiO2 under the intensity electric and high-temperature field, respectively. The values of the breakdown strength are increased by 38% and 11.5% for single layer samples and oil/pressboard composite insulation models modified by 5 wt% nano-TiO2 filler. In addition, the charge decay characteristics are tested on the samples. The proper proportion additions can reduce the trap density.

  • Exploring Intended Functions of Indoor Flying Robots Interacting With Humans in Proximity
  • 2024
  • Ingår i: Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems - Proceedings.
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • What will people experience when drones become common in home environments? How will their functions and distances impact human experiences? To explore the potential usage of indoor drones, we conducted a mixed-methods study (N=60) on the reported perceptions of a small flying robot. We employed a factorial experimental design, involving four intended drone functions (camera, education, pet, unknown) at two distances (near, far). Our findings suggest that intended functions significantly influence participants' perceptions. Among the functions examined, participants found the camera useful but annoying, and the pet useless but pleasant. The education emerged as the most favored function, while the unknown function was the least preferred one. Based on these findings, we discuss implications for designing positive interactions between humans and indoor drones, considering aspects such as context, transparency, privacy, technical factors, and personalization.

  • 2023
  • Ingår i: NANO-MICRO LETTERS. - : SHANGHAI JIAO TONG UNIV PRESS. - 2311-6706. ; 15:1
  • Forskningsöversikt (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices (solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices (artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission. This review highlights the fundamentals, the current progress and the remaining challenges for each application, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of the development status and a navigation of future research for metal halide perovskite materials and devices.
