Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- We present a three- and four-connected 3D-net based on 4-aminopyridine coordinated to Ag(I) and hydrogen bonded to nitrate with the unusual, high symmetry, topology (83)(86)2-tfa.

A novel organic chromophore for dye-sensitized nanostructured solar cells
- 2006
-
Ingår i: Chemical Communications. - : Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). - 1359-7345 .- 1364-548X. ; :21, s. 2245-2247
-
Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- A novel and efficient polyene-diphenylaniline dye for dye-sensitized solar cells has been synthesized. The dye has a short synthesis route and is readily adsorbed on TiO2 under a variety of dye-bath conditions. The overall solar-to-energy conversion efficiency is over 5% in the preliminary tests, in comparison with the conventional N719 dye which gives 6% under the same conditions. The dye is designed for future use also in solid state devices, with triarylamine based hole conductors.

Synthesis of well-defined hydrogel networks using Click chemistry
- 2006
-
Ingår i: Chemical Communications. - 1359-7345 .- 1364-548X. ; :26, s. 2774-2776
-
Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- New PEG-based hydrogel materials have been synthesized by Click chemistry and shown to result in well-defined networks having significantly improved mechanical properties; the selectivity of the azide/ acetylene coupling reaction also allows for the incorporation of various additives and functional groups leading to chemical tailoring of the hydrogels.

Superhydrophobic Bio-fibre Surfaces via Tailored Grafting Architecture
- 2006
-
Ingår i: Chemical Communications. - : Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). - 1359-7345 .- 1364-548X. ; :34, s. 3594-3596
-
Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- Superhydrophobic bio-fibre surfaces with a micro-nano-binary surface structure have been achieved via the surface-confined grafting of glycidyl methacrylate, using a branched "graft-on-graft'' architecture, followed by post-functionalisation to obtain fluorinated brushes.

Dynamic ligation at the first amine-coordinated iron hydrogenase active site mimic
- 2006
-
Ingår i: Chemical Communications. - : Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). - 1359-7345 .- 1364-548X. ; :40, s. 4206-4208
-
Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- The first model of the iron hydrogenase active site has been prepared in which an amine ligand is loosely coordinated to an Fe-I centre, and can be replaced by a solvent molecule; irrespective of the ligand set, the one electron reduction of both complexes is chemically reversible and is shown to proceed through the same species which features a bridging CO ligand.

Iron hydrogenase active site mimic holding a proton and a hydride
- 2006
-
Ingår i: Chemical Communications. - : Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). - 1359-7345 .- 1364-548X. ; 5, s. 520-522
-
Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
- The first model of the iron hydrogenase active site has been prepared which concomitantly carries a proton and a hydride; the title species was characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy and is reduced at more positive potential than any other mimic of this kind.
