- This publication partly explains how we had managed amalgamate manufacturing engineering according to our interpretation and e.g. Gestalt psychology (i.e. for the most socio-technically advanced assembly system designs). This is something that is elaborated further and better repetitively in other publications registered in Chalmers Public Library (CPL) (especially is this the case in some of the latest preprints/manuscripts). That is, how the learning and training principles advocated by the senior research competency within vocational learning and training were realised in practice for full-scale production purposes.

- A sort of summarization of the two authors scientific methods used to combined methods to analyse production systems (of combined data, collections of company data, interviews, questionnaire surveys, video-registration, etc.). As these methods were developed until this very point in time. For example, this has been carried out by means of constructions so-called schematised layouts (a more general function if the production system in question). Therefore, note that by means of this specific method to organize questionnaire surveys (including complementary data collection) it is feasible to couple (softer) questionnaire data to (harder) technical data (i.e. the operators perception of work and work conditions to parameters like product flow patterns and buffer functions and positions) (see some of the authours' other publications).

- This manuscript (preprint not yet published due to one of the two authors retirement) summaries some of our questionnaire surveys conducted som far within the automotive industry (see other publications registered in CPL). It is a consumer report for the Metal Workers Union (Metal in Swedish) at some Volvo plants. with who we have managed to create a long-term cooperation for further initiatives, like these touched upon in e.g. this publication and elsewhere. The manuscript underlines an emerges of a sort of preliminary summarization of selected parts of our combined methods to analyse production systems (of combined data, collections of company data, interviews, questionnaire surveys, video-registration, etc.). For example, this has been carried out by means of constructions so-called schematised layouts (a more general function if the production system in question).

- This is an example how of our research and development work regarding a self-developed method to synchronise a video recorder and a personal computer was refined further. Which in turn gave birth to an extensive register of video-registration that still are saved at Chalmers University of Technology (this register’s existence has not been resolved after Engström’s retirement). This method in question has more or less been nicked by other scientists, which who we have cooperated at Lindholmen Utveckling in Gothenburg. Who has constructed a digitalised version of this method, our own equipment comprised usage of VHS-tapes (see other publication registered in Chalmers Public Library CPL). Later on refined further with regard to specific psychological aspects (i.e. the registered operator/subjects were thereby able to self-evaluate the recordings by interactions).
