A few simple primitives were included to support parallel programming. The code generation, linking and loading procedures are described. An overview of the hardware is included. Finally some programming experience with the system is reported.

Svensson, Urban (författare) On the numerical prediction of vertical turbulent exchange in stratified flows 1980 Ingår i: Software, practice & experience. - 0038-0644 .- 1097-024X. ; 2, s. 686-696 Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract A one-dimensional mathematical model is employed for analyzing a laboratory experiment of basic significance in geophysical flows. The mathematical model is based on the conservation laws for momentum and salinity. A two-equation turbulence model is used for the determination of exchange coefficients. A sensitivity study indicates that the turbulent Prandtl number for salinity should receive special attention. Also the buoyancy term in the equation determining the turbulent lengthscale is found to exercise a large influence. Suggestions for these terms are presented
