- The background for this study is the lack of well-defined and distinct theories on didactics in school-age educare centres (SAECs). Therefore, in this study, we investigated and compared perceptions among nine professional groups employed in the field. The participants included 390 females and 102 males in Sweden, and their beliefs about didactics in SAECs were measured through a questionnaire consisting of 24 items on a 4-point Likert scale, which researchers and those related to the didactics in SAECs proposed. Descriptive statistics presented an overall picture of the various claims on a group level. The Mann–Whitney test investigated the distinctions between occupational categories. The results indicated that most of the items were relevant. Furthermore, the pupils' orientation was not taken into account enough. Didactics should be translated into SAEC practices but the transfer into practice remains unclear. Many respondents appeared to agree with all of the items to varying degrees, but least that SAEC didactics should not be related to school activities. An important result was that principals' perceptions diverged largely from those of other groups, especially regarding the relationship of didactics to the school's activities. The results partly explain that different professions the SAECs affect see the role of didactics differently.

From social networks to knowledge graphs : A plea for interdisciplinary approaches

- Contextual information is a crucial factor in interdisciplinary research on social networks. At the same time, missing linked data and missing methods for large-scale knowledge networks are a serious limitation. Only few researches have addressed the questions between data science, graph theory and social network analysis. This paper seeks to discuss how this gap can be closed. For this, we use an interdisciplinary approach trying to improve the interdisciplinary exchange and method exchange. We investigate how new methods from computer science, in particular knowledge graphs, can be used within the field of SNA. The contributions of this paper are (1) a knowledge graph model representation of a multi-layer social network, (2) the showcase of examples from different domains and (3) a perspective for more interdisciplinary discussion. We present an innovative solution to discuss coming challenges in SNA with methods from the digital humanities, in particular computer science.

Teachers' professional dispositions : Foundations for the immobile mobility in the diversified Swedish school market

- Previous research has shown that when teachers in segregated school markets change jobs, they transfer toschools with similar pupil composition as the school from which they transferred. One explanation for thisimmobile mobility is that teachers develop context-related professional principles only suitable for one type ofschool context. This is conceptualised as a professional disposition. From interviews with secondary school-teachers, three different types of professional disposition have been discovered: pragmatic, idea-driven andtraditional. In this paper these are presented and related to a school market with reinforced school segregationand increased pedagogical and organisational diversity.
