    • Kristianstad municipality has a big problem with flooding every year because Kristianstad city is one of the lowest cities in Sweden. The Kristianstad municipality uses 550 sensors to detect the water in rivers, seas, and channels. Those sensors communicate with the IoT portal, where the data visualization is preprocessed. Using a machine-learning algorithm can help the municipality reduce the time and resources used to detect the risk of flooding. Collecting data and preprocessing is an important prerequisite to using machine learning. We use the LSTM Long Short-Term Memory algorithm for machine learning in this work. LSTM is one of the artificial recurrent neural networks (RNN) that uses Deep Learning (DL). This recurrent algorithm can capture long-range dependencies. Our solution makes predictions of future water levels. It is desired to make rapid forecast with real-time virtualization.

    • This study uses the stock ownership records of Swedish firms and hand-collected Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) data to analyze the offer prices and underpricing of IPO shares and the relationship with the post-IPO ownership structure. The results show that for IPO stocks with low offer prices, individual investors hold a relatively large fraction of shares compared with IPO stocks with higher offer prices. Furthermore, for low-priced IPOs, there is a negative relationship between offer price and breadth of ownership, showing that stocks with a low price can attract more investors than stocks with higher offer prices. However, there is also a size effect, with breadth of ownership being higher for larger firms. Overall, this study shows that the offer price of an IPO firm may have a moderate effect on its post-IPO ownership structure.

    • This paper analyzes initial public offerings (IPOs) and the post-IPO ownership structure of these firms. The study uses stock ownership records of Swedish firms, together with hand-collected IPO data to analyze the price level of the IPO share and its relationship with the ownership structure. This study shows that for cheap IPO stocks (low nominal priced), individual investors hold a relatively large fraction of the shares compared with IPO stocks with higher nominal price. However, there is a size effect, where the breadth of ownership is higher for larger firms. Thereby, the firm can affect their post-IPO ownership structure when setting the offer price. The study also suggests that there are signs of a seasonal effect, where first quarter IPOs in this sample on average yield a higher initial return.

    • The advent of powered toothbrushes and associated mobile health applications provides an opportunity to collect and monitor the data, however collecting reliable and standardized data from large populations has been associated with efforts from the participants and researchers. Finding a way to collect data autonomously and without the need for cooperation imparts the potential to build large knowledge banks. A solution with Bluetooth low energy technology is designed to pair a powered toothbrush with a single-core processor to collect raw data in a real-time scenario, eliminating the manual transfer of powered toothbrush data with mobile health applications. Associating powered toothbrush with a single-core processor is believed to provide reliable and comprehensible data of toothbrush use and propensities can be a guide to improve individual exhortation and general plans on oral hygiene quantifies that can prompt improved oral wellbeing. The method makes a case for an expanded chance to plan assistant capacities to protect or improve factors that influence oral wellbeing in individuals with mild cognitive impairment. The proposed framework assists with determining various parameters, which makes it adaptable and conceivable to execute in various oral care contexts
