  • The Eighth Visual Object Tracking VOT2020 Challenge Results
  • 2020
  • Ingår i: Computer Vision. - Cham : Springer International Publishing. - 9783030682378 ; , s. 547-601
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The Visual Object Tracking challenge VOT2020 is the eighth annual tracker benchmarking activity organized by the VOT initiative. Results of 58 trackers are presented; many are state-of-the-art trackers published at major computer vision conferences or in journals in the recent years. The VOT2020 challenge was composed of five sub-challenges focusing on different tracking domains: (i) VOT-ST2020 challenge focused on short-term tracking in RGB, (ii) VOT-RT2020 challenge focused on “real-time” short-term tracking in RGB, (iii) VOT-LT2020 focused on long-term tracking namely coping with target disappearance and reappearance, (iv) VOT-RGBT2020 challenge focused on short-term tracking in RGB and thermal imagery and (v) VOT-RGBD2020 challenge focused on long-term tracking in RGB and depth imagery. Only the VOT-ST2020 datasets were refreshed. A significant novelty is introduction of a new VOT short-term tracking evaluation methodology, and introduction of segmentation ground truth in the VOT-ST2020 challenge – bounding boxes will no longer be used in the VOT-ST challenges. A new VOT Python toolkit that implements all these novelites was introduced. Performance of the tested trackers typically by far exceeds standard baselines. The source code for most of the trackers is publicly available from the VOT page. The dataset, the evaluation kit and the results are publicly available at the challenge website (http://votchallenge.net ).

  • Fabrication and characterization of a molecular adhesive layer for micro- and nanofabricated electrochemical electrodes
  • 2002
  • Ingår i: 7th International Conference on Nanometer-Scale Science and Technology and 21st European Conference on Surface Science.
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • When making nanoelectrodes for applications in liquid cells it is plausible that the less noble metal layer may be negatively affected, i.e. it will be etched away leading to very unstable conditions during operation. Here we describe a dry method to produce such a molecular layer consisting of mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (MPTS) making it possible to controllable and reproducibly form a covalently bound monolayer of MPTS to the SiO2 surface. From Photoelectron Spectroscopy measurements we could conclude that the layer thickness corresponds to a monolayer. We have electrochemically characterized such electrodes by cyclic voltammetry. Furthermore, we have successfully patterned such layers at both micro- and nanometer scale showing the possibilities to fabricate chemically selective and active areas that may be used in various applications

  • Nanoimprint - a tool for realizing nano-bio research
  • 2004
  • Ingår i: 2004 4th IEEE Conference on Nanotechnology. - 0780385365 ; , s. 199-200
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • In this paper, we present a status report on how implementation of nanoimprint lithography has advanced our research. Contact guidance nerve growth experiments have so far primarily been done on micrometer-structured surfaces. We have made a stamp with 17 areas of different, submicron, line width and spacing covering a total 2.6 mm

  • The organic/inorganic interface: a study of direct electron transfer
  • 2002
  • Ingår i: 7th International Conference on Nanometer-Scale Science and Technology and 21st European Conference on Surface Science.
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Porphyrins have become an interesting class of molecules in studies of molecular electronics. They are, however, sensitive to handling procedures and may give different results in electronic or optical properties depending on the method used for coupling or adsorption. We present electronic measurements of a heme porphyrin mounted in a biomolecular structure-an enzyme-and show that a direct electron transfer between the enzyme and the electrode results from a chemical reaction

  • Next generation nanotechnologies for sensor array fabrication
  • 2002
  • Ingår i: 7th International Conference on Nanometer-Scale Science and Technology and 21st European Conference on Surface Science.
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • New emerging technologies such as nanoimprint lithography (NIL) offers the biosensor research community the possibility to fabricate low-cost biodevices having nanometer dimensions. Such nanosized devices can be applied as biosensors where new functions might emerge due to the nanoscale dimensions. In this paper we will discuss various nanolithography methods as well as the benefits of going to the nanoscale for biosensor applications. We will also show results from mixed NIL and UV-lithography for fabrication of interdigitated nanobiosensor electrodes on up to 6'' large Si wafers. The electrode and inter-electrode distances were 100 nm wide over a total area of 200 μm×200 μm. We will also show the obtained enhanced efficiency of redox-recycling when utilizing such nanoscaled biosensors

  • Novel all-silicon sensor structure with integrated poly-Si electrodes
  • 1996
  • Ingår i: ; , s. 2071-2072
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • The interest in miniaturization of modern chemical and medical sensors is steadily increasing. However, when employing methods and fabrication procedures especially developed for microelectronics, one may encounter new and unpredictable problems for applications in aqueous media. For instance, in microelectronics often a dual metal layer system is employed for making electrical contacts. In a solution such a contact may result in galvanic reactions and/or may dissolved in the cleaning agents used for sterilization of medical devices. To address such issues we have employed an all-silicon based process technology for fabrication of sturdy and reliable devices with integrated poly-Silicon electrodes that tolerate most chemical environments. In this presentation we will report on the first results using such electrodes. A comparative study between identical poly-Si and Aluminium electrodes was made in order to investigate the usefulness of poly-Si electrodes. We will also demonstrate the nice possibility to use well-documented methods for surface modifications using silane coupling chemistry. We believe this added benefit for the silicon based electrodes of easy surface modification processes, as compared with metal electrodes, to be extremely valuable for the development of accurate and tailored sensor structures for specific applications.
