- This paper presents an experimental comparison among the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) and orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) waveforms in a terahertz photonic-wireless point-to-point communication system operating at 300GHz. Our results show that, all waveforms have similar peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), the OTFS and OTFS waveforms can achieve comparable bit error rate (BER) performance, while the FBMC waveform outperforms in terms of the out-of-band decay at the cost of non-orthogonality between subcarriers, leading to the deterioration of BER performance at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region.
