• This book is aimed to disseminate and raise awareness of the delicate topic of toxic chemicals and their effects on human health. The book adopts a simple and accessible language, even tough it includes some technical details on toxicology. The volume is divided into three sections, the first one is a description of some important toxic chemicals. The second part describes toxics' health effects on human health. The third section explains the European REACH legislation on toxic chemicals.
