- Operator utility is related to expected profits, risks and strategic issues. In this paper we focus on the potential change in operator utility from network cooperation. If network cooperation would increase operator utility significantly, that would be an important driver of cooperation. We show that the most important effect of network cooperation would be increased user utility, which in turn is shown to have significant impact on operator utility. The user utility is compared without and with cooperation between mobile operators. The user utility is expressed as a User Satisfaction Index (USI) which is depending on the service availability, service quality and the price. Cooperation in the form of sharing of network resources is usually seen as a way to share costs and risk for network deployment. However, there are other operator benefits: improved network utilization and increased traffic which may increase the revenues improved user satisfaction due to improved service availability and quality The network related property of cooperation to reduce the number of disconnected users is transformed into a higher degree of user satisfaction. This would most likely result in more loyal customers and hence the churn would be reduced. In this paper we discuss the implications of the increased user satisfaction on operator costs for customer acquisition and management. We see business opportunities for mobile operators leading to cost savings and changes in the cost structure.

- Objective: [18F]FE-PE2I (FE-PE2I) is a new radiotracer for dopamine transporter (DAT) imaging with PET. The aim of this study was to evaluate the visual interpretation of FE-PE2I images for the diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinsonian syndrome (IPS). The inter-rater variability, sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy for visual interpretation of striatal FE-PE2I compared to [123I]FP-CIT (FP-CIT) single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) was evaluated.Methods: Thirty patients with newly onset parkinsonism and 32 healthy controls with both an FE-PE2I and FP-CIT were included in the study. Four patients had normal DAT imaging, of which three did not fulfil the IPS criteria at the clinical reassessment after 2 years. Six raters evaluated the DAT images blinded to the clinical diagnosis, interpreting the image as being ‘normal’ or ‘pathological’, and assessed the degree of DAT-reduction in the caudate and putamen. The inter-rater agreement was assessed with intra-class correlation and Cronbach’s α. For calculation of sensitivity and specificity, DAT images were defined as correctly classified if categorized as normal or pathological by ≥4/6 raters.Results: The overall agreement in visual evaluation of the FE-PE2I- and FP-CIT images was high for the IPS patients (α = 0.960 and 0.898, respectively), but lower in healthy controls (FE-PE2I: α = 0.693, FP-CIT: α = 0.657). Visual interpretation gave high sensitivity (both 0.96) but lower specificity (FE-PE2I: 0.86, FP-CIT: 0.63) with an accuracy of 90% for FE-PE2I and 77% for FP-CIT.Conclusion: Visual evaluation of FE-PE2I PET imaging demonstrates high reliability and diagnostic accuracy for IPS.

- This paper presents an overview of the Radio Resource Management (RRM) functionalities needed for Non-Conventional and Low-Cost Networks. These types of networks are characterized by increased cooperation between different types of networks and providers and they are believed to play a fundamental role for future wireless network networking. The paper describes three specific concepts, which latter is used to identify new RRM challenges. In addition, it identifies the relation between the RRM challenges and the Ambient Networks architecture and functionalities, in particular the multiradio resource management functionality.

- Recently, decreased levels of apolipoprotein M (ApoM) were shown to be associated with higher risk of recurrent venous thromboembolism (VTE) in male patients. However, the role of ApoM in primary VTE is unknown. We aimed in our study to analyze the plasma levels of ApoM in patients with VTE in order to evaluate the diagnostic importance of ApoM in primary VTE. A total of 357 patients with suspected first episode of VTE were recruited prospectively in the SCORE study. Plasma samples from 307 patients were available for quantifying the plasma levels of ApoM in patients with VTE using sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method. Among the whole population, plasma levels (mean [standard deviation]) of ApoM were not significantly different between patients with VTE (0.72 [0.20]) and non-VTE patients (0.72 [0.16]), P = .99. Similarly, in regression analyses, no significant association of ApoM plasma levels with the risk of VTE was found on univariate (odds ratio [OR] =1.0, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.21-4.84, P = .99) and multivariate analysis (OR = 1.25, 95% CI = 0.19-8.34, P = .819) after adjusting for age, body mass index, and smoking. Moreover, results did not differ significantly after stratification of data according to sex ( P > .05). In this study, our results do not suggest a diagnostic role for ApoM plasma levels in patients with primary VTE. Moreover, the current study suggests that role of ApoM as a risk factor may differ for primary VTE and recurrent VTE in male patients.

A helium gas scintillator active target for photoreaction measurements

- A multi-cell He gas scintillator active target, designed for the measurement of photoreaction cross sections, is described. The target has four main chambers, giving an overall thickness of 0.103 g/cm(3) at an operating pressure of 2MPa. Scintillations are read out by photomultiplier tubes and the addition of small amounts of N-2 to the He, to shift the scintillation emission from UV to visible, is discussed. First results of measurements at the MAX IV Laboratory tagged-photon facility show that the target has a timing resolution of around 1 ns and can cope well with a high-flux photon beam. The determination of reaction cross sections from target yields relies on a Monte Carlo simulation, which considers scintillation light transport, photodisintegration processes in He-4, background photon interactions in target windows and interactions of the reaction-product particles in the gas and target container. The predictions of this simulation are compared to the measured target response.

- Denna studie handlar om kapitalförsörjning för såväl sociala som kommersiella företag inom ramen för ett socialt regionalt innovationssystem. Projektets målsättningar består i att identifiera, analysera och i handling omsätta kunskaper kring hur entreprenörskapets möjligheter kan användas för att initiera och utveckla nya eller existerande verksamheter. En väsentlig utgångspunkt för denna studie är att entreprenörskap i dess olika former, kräver tillgång på kapital och då i klartext såväl finansiellt-, socialt- som kunskapskapital.För att skapa ett långsiktigt hållbart lokalt och regionalt samhälle behövs inte bara robusta kommersiella företag. Sådana samhällen byggs också av sociala företag (SF), vilka består av verksamheter som inte primärt drivs för att maximera vinsten, utan snarare använder överskottet till att göra sociala insatser. Under de senaste årtiondena har antalet sociala företag vuxit världen över och dessa företag kännetecknas bl a av hög andel ideella resurser, en kooperativ struktur, och att eventuella överskott stannar kvar i verksamheten.

- There is an increasing gap between the contemporary academic and political concern for social enterprising and available theoretical and empirical research in the field. In this study we want to contribute to a much needed bridge by, first, outlining a conceptual framework for (social) entrepreneuring based on practice-theory. Second, we generate an in-depth inquiry into the everyday operations of two Swedish social businesses, interconnected in an emerging franchise structure, identifying basic structural and processual features of social entrepreneuring. The proposed structures include the dualities individual/collective as the actor, personal/institutional rules of action and self-identity/social identity. The six identified practices concern social bricolaging, amplified immediacy, dynamic involvement, ambiguous legitimacy, self-enforced heterogeneity and urgency for financial viability.

All-printed large-scale integrated circuits based on organic electrochemical transistors

- The communication outposts of the emerging Internet of Things are embodied by ordinary items, which desirably include all-printed flexible sensors, actuators, displays and akin organic electronic interface devices in combination with silicon-based digital signal processing and communication technologies. However, hybrid integration of smart electronic labels is partly hampered due to a lack of technology that (de)multiplex signals between silicon chips and printed electronic devices. Here, we report all-printed 4-to-7 decoders and seven-bit shift registers, including over 100 organic electrochemical transistors each, thus minimizing the number of terminals required to drive monolithically integrated all-printed electrochromic displays. These relatively advanced circuits are enabled by a reduction of the transistor footprint, an effort which includes several further developments of materials and screen printing processes. Our findings demonstrate that digital circuits based on organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) provide a unique bridge between all-printed organic electronics (OEs) and low-cost silicon chip technology for Internet of Things applications. © 2019, The Author(s).
