    • For his Gravity guest lecture Jason E. Bowman, (senior Lecturer in Fine Art, HDK-Valand Academy, University of Gothenburg, SE) will provide an overview of a recent four-year long research project funded by the Swedish Research Council. "Stretched: Expanding Notions of Artistic Practice through Artist-led Cultures" investigated the activities and practices of the artist-led towards interrogating a contention of these being 'of' curating. Exhibition-making, or more accurately making-exhibitable, was a primary element of "Stretched’s" mixed methodology. This resulted in exhibitions at Raven Row gallery (London, 2017), BALTIC Contemporary (Gateshead, 2018) and the Gallery of Modern Art, (Glasgow 2019). Bowman's next investigation derives from "Stretched", entitled "Human Resources" (2023-24), it asks, ‘How are people curated in art’s social turn?’ and will be undertaken with the Platform for Artistic Research Sweden (PARSE):
