  • The classical capture cross section of an electron and neutral and anionic polarizable molecules with permanent dipole moments
  • 2019
  • In: International Journal of Mass Spectrometry. - : Elsevier BV. - 1387-3806. ; 438, s. 142-147
  • Journal article (peer-reviewed)abstract
    • tThe energy dependent capture cross sections of electrons and polarizable neutral molecules with perma-nent dipole moments and with and without an additional negative charge are calculated classically. Theresults can be expressed in lengths and energies scaled with parameters that derive from the polarizabil-ity, dipole moment and charge. Cross sections integrated over impact angles are given. The results are ofinterest for both electron attachment and for thermal electron emission. The consequences for thermalelectron emission spectra are discussed quantitatively.

  • Long-term follow-up of prenatally treated children at risk for congenital adrenal hyperplasia : Does dexamethasone cause behavioural problems?
  • 2008
  • In: European Journal of Endocrinology. - 0804-4643 .- 1479-683X. ; 159:3, s. 309-316
  • Journal article (peer-reviewed)abstract
    • Objectives: To investigate the long-term effects of prenatal treatment of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) with emphasis on behavioural problems and temperament. Design: A population-based long-term follow-up study of Swedish children at risk for virilising CAH, who had received treatment prenatally with dexamethasone (DEX). The questionnaire-based follow-up was performed when the children had reached school age. Methods: Standardised parent-completed questionnaires were used to evaluate adaptive functioning, behavioural/emotional problems and psychopathology, social anxiety and temperament in DEX-exposed school-aged children (n=26) and matched controls (n=35). In addition, the association between parental questionnaires and children's self-ratings was investigated. Results: There were no statistically significant differences between DEX-exposed children and controls in measures of psychopathology, behavioural problems and adaptive functioning. In a questionnaire on temperamental traits, DEX-exposed children were described by their parents as being more sociable than controls (P=0.042). The correlation analysis showed only modest parent–child agreement on social anxiety, i.e. the increased social anxiety in children's self-ratings was not confirmed by their parents. Conclusions: DEX-treated children showed good overall adjustment. The parent–child agreement with respect to social anxiety was modest, highlighting the importance of multiple information sources and assessment methods. The clinical significance of the observed difference in sociability cannot be determined within the frameworks of this study. Additional studies of larger cohorts are essential to make more decisive conclusions on the safety of the treatment. Until then, it is important that parents are thoroughly informed about the benefits and potential risks and uncertainties of this controversial treatment.

  • Varför blev skinheadskulturen högerextremistisk?
  • 2012
  • In: Intro – en antologi om musik och samhälle. - 9789197915052 ; , s. 283-291
  • Book chapter (pop. science, debate, etc.)abstract

  • Synthesis of two-dimensional molybdenum carbide, Mo2C, from the gallium based atomic laminate Mo2Ga2C
  • 2015
  • In: Scripta Materialia. - : Elsevier. - 1359-6462 .- 1872-8456. ; 108, s. 147-150
  • Journal article (peer-reviewed)abstract
    • We report on the synthesis of a two-dimensional transition metal carbide, Mo2C, (MXene) obtained by immersing Mo2Ga2C thin films in hydrofluoric acid. Experimental evidences for neither synthesis of a Mo-based MXene nor selective etching of Ga from an atomic nanolaminate have previously been presented. MXene formation is verified through X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. This discovery unlocks new potential applications for Mo-based MXenes in a host of applications, from thermoelectrics to catalysis and energy storage.

  • Designing Knowledge Ecosystems Through Social, Mental, Material, and Moral Ecologies
  • 2020
  • In: Academy of Management 2020. ; 2020:1
  • Conference paper (peer-reviewed)abstract
    • Knowledge ecosystems, where universities, public research institutions, and for-profit firms collaborate to develop new knowledge in a pre-competitive setting, have become increasingly important to address complex, societal challenges requiring creating, combining, and recombining knowledge. Still, additional insights concerning the emergence and evolution of ecosystems are needed to understand if and how knowledge ecosystems can be designed. Based on a longitudinal study of a knowledge ecosystem, this paper explores how four ecologies; social, mental, material and moral, emerging from social interaction are influencing the emergence and evolution of the ecosystem. The findings enhance our understanding of the microfoundations of ecosystems, not only through in-depth knowledge about the dynamic and emergent organization of a knowledge ecosystem and the ecologies that constitute it, but also of the collaborative work that takes place to continuously regenerate it."
