Book chapter (pop. science, debate, etc.)abstract
- The article deals with a conflict during the 1960:s when individual taxation was carried through in Swedish social politics. Professional women wanted to use their education and be working in the labor market, while housewifes, who had invested in unpaid family and caring work, wanted a tax system founded on a family income. The unexpected happened that the professional women could cooperate with male organisations as unions, the press, male politicians etc to effect their policy.
