Mobilitet och transportlösningar på landsbygd : en internationell litteraturstudie

- VTI har ett regeringsuppdrag att genomföra en studie om effektiva och innovativa lösningar som kan öka medborgarnas vilja och möjlighet att utnyttja kollektivtrafiken på landsbygd. Föreliggande litteraturstudie är en del i uppdraget som syftar till att beskriva kunskapsläget och att belysa vilken problematik som har fokuserats i forskningen om landsbygdstransporter under de senaste åren. Syftet är att få en fördjupad och samlad kunskap om forskning om kollektivtrafik på landsbygd, om mobilitet hos personer boende på landsbygd och om vilka lösningar som finns för framtidens mobilitet och tillgänglighet på landsbygden. De forskningsfrågor som belyses är:• Vilka frågor och problem har forskare inom detta fält intresserat sig för? Vilka samhällsgrupper har särskilt fokuserats?• Hur ser mobiliteten ut för olika samhällsgrupper på landsbygden? Hur löser de sina vardagliga transporter och vilka hinder för mobilitet och tillgänglighet finns?• Vilka transportlösningar har prövats på olika landsbygder? Vad har lösningarna visat för resultat?I studien används inte någon specifik definition av landsbygd, eftersom sökkriterierna skulle bli alldeles för snäva. Sökningarna har koncentrats till publikationer från år 2000 och framåt. Antalet artiklar som slutligen valdes ut som relevanta för att kunna besvara syftet och forskningsfrågorna var 27. De flesta (15 stycken) var genomförda i Storbritannien.

- This is the story of a collaborative project involving the creation, development and teaching of a course on qualitative research, which was designed for all Swedish Tax Agency analysts. The collaboration took place between the Swedish Tax Agency and Linkoping University, and this story is told from the perspective of three researchers: Lotta, Karin and Ulf. It was a successful course. However, this is not just a story about collaboration between academia and tax authority, but also one about how interdisciplinary approaches can create new knowledge. We argue that, due to our different backgrounds, and diverse interests and resources, the collaboration also gave us new insights into our daily research and analytic work. Our experience can perhaps inspire other collaborations between academia and tax administration.

- The aim of the project was to develop and test the model for Gender Equality Impact Assessment as proposed in the report Gender Equality in Traffic Planning. Principally the focus was on the Swedish national gender equality objectives of economic equality and the equal distribution of unpaid housework and provision of care. The project also aimed to identify the need for development of knowledge (of gender equality) and to develop an undergraduate training course for professionals in transportation planning.The departure of the project was taken in the objectives of gender equality in transport and the national gender equality objectives. Every fourth to fifth year a county transport plan is formed for each of the 20 regions of Sweden. These plans are the basis for investments in transport for 10–15 years in the future. The plans are used to prioritize the major transport infrastructure initiatives at the national, regional and local level.The research project was organised into five work packages, where researchers and planners collaborated. Initially the researchers analysed how gender came into account in the last two regional transport plans, and in focus groups and workshops with planners discussed their viewpoints on gender equality in the regional transportation planning. These analyses and discussions formed the basis for the two work packages with additional working sessions where a number of steps in a procedure were tested with the aim to further develop a working model for gender equality impact assessment.
